' NO HOPE '

I was told today that the players are claiming to be (quote) "Tired come match day" after multiple daily training sessions during the week and it may explain why we seem to fall apart during the second half of games!

This may be correct but all I know is that was one of the most abject performances by many in a blue shirt for some time and this squad now have the dubious honour of being the first City team to lose 3 home games on a row since 2007/08

That sounds very plausible. They certainly don't have any go in them. Four home games we've lost now, after being 0-0 at half time. Under Slade we often got wins from that situation. The football may not have been brilliant, but it was better than this! What is this 'performance' bloke supposed to be doing? Quite a few injuries, for early in the season.

It was "this performance bloke" that was getting most of the stick in the conversation I had and the originator of the talk would surprise all but one or two on this Forum!

There is no hope for this team with Paul Trollope in charge.

I have seen virtually every game so far this season and will be at Burton on Saturday but that performance tonight was the worst of the lot.

I do not see Trollope turning this around and in my opinion it is as simple and basic as that, he just can't get this team set up correctly and I am even believing that he has not got the support of the dressing room based on many individual performances over several games.

The vast majority of the players look devoid of ideas and they don't seem to know the best way to get the most out of the system that Trollope employs in any game.

Sad to say after such a short space of time but I can't see how Trollope can hang on to the job, something use change and soon.

I'm not even going to attempt to argue with that.
