There appears to be some sort of power/financial struggle going on - that much is obvious. Can we, as mere football supporters, hope to have some sort of influence over this? no chance!

The board members and controllers of the club, both Malaysian and British, are very wealthy and successful men trying to control what is effectively, debts not withstanding, a multi-million pound business with assets worth up to £40million. No-one gets into the position of these people without the ability to be totally ruthless and lie straight to your face without flinching or without conscience - it is why they have more money than us!

All we can do as fans is support the manager and the players on the field to the best of our ability. :ayatollah:

some good points from all of you guys and just to add to toher points like they own 30% so they aint willing to pay 100% debt. totally agree they are looking for borley isaacs etc to put more funds in also to steady the ship and chances are the rest of the board won't do it silly really as they will all lose money as they own a percentage of the club which they originally paid for... i can;t however see the malaysians wanting more shares as any holding over38.75% would trigger an automatic takeover bid and i can't see them paying roughly £20m to buy a club more than £30m in debt can you???
it looks like admin unless sommut is sorted........good and bad points to admin as well guys so we'll see, perhaps the malaysians want admin to snatch full ownership fo the club for a low amount of money?? who reallly knows

Firstly as discussed on here tonight there are many creditors who have secured status against the club's assets, so people like Paul Guy, Ray Ranson, Compass would receive money, our players would be sold off very cheaply to pay these creditors, we have a bare squad as it is, we would have to play the youth team to field a team. Couple that with the points deduction and I would be sure we would struggle against relegation.

Also I believe that to come out of administration you must have the agreeance of 75% of your creditors and as the largest creditor to the club, even though they are not secured, would Langston agree to the club coming out of administration if they have not received their dues ?

This could be very risky for the club because with the secured creditors getting sorted before the unsecured ones, yet the unsecured ones are the biggest creditors, could lead to a very difficult situation.

Would the Malaysians, who have done thorough due dilegence, want to be seen as failures if the club was to go into administration, they are considered very smart businessmen who knew of every debt the club had prior to investing, they are honourable people we are told.

I cannot see them putting the club into administration and neither do I believe it would be beneficial to us. There are other issues relevant to admistration and I am sure more people can enlighten me on them but I have thought about this matter tonight and dont agree with many peoples views.
