No one is doubting Borleys passion, commitment, livleyhood or anything else that can be added, all we are saying and im sure today even he will agree, what he did last night being a highly rated and successful businessman and director of our football club and a true fan, was still unproffesional, he let a meesage board and its banter get to him and then let himself down.

For those of you who of late seem to have lost faith in this fella, may need a little reminder about such said person.

Ive known him since the 90's and known him very well and his family.

It's a simple equation HES CLASS and would only do what benefits his love Cardiff City Football Club.

He no doubt makes mistakes like everybody us, and that includes all of us, but he doesnt deserve what many are saying on here tonight.

There is no doubt in my mind that he was unprofessional last night Steve but more importantly, he showed he still hasn't forgotten his roots, he's a St Illtyds boy and came out fighting, off course when he put his Cyncoed hat back on he had to retract , we are lucky to have him.

The guy has done more for the club than anybody I can think of.
He is a legend in my opinion and the fact that he posted his thoughts show that he is a passionate fan as well as a guy that has risked a lot to bankroll us.

Probably more of a fan than the whole of this forum put together! I would love to see these people having a go put THEIR homes and businesses on the line for the sake of a football club.

What Steve Borley has done for the club has to be recognized, He is City threw and threw we all agree on that. Yes he was unprofessional last night but it shows the passion in the man. Yes he made a mistake but that's life we have all made posts on here we sometimes regret.
We need steve Borley at the moment because give me 100 Borleys instead of those Egg wankers raping our club week in week out. The problem was S.B was a man on his own against a whole boardroom intent on destroying our club from within.

We are Cardiff City FFS, not Arsenal or Reading.
We are a grimy working class club and I for one am proud of that.

However, he didn't defend himself he attacked Annis personally over his attempted takeover of Merthyr which he got factually wrong had nothing to do with Annis' questions about Borley's bottle to stand up to Gethin Jenkins or Peter Ridsdale.

That's why we discribed what he said as 'unprofessional' and the fact he is a mate of yours doesn't change that.

Agree with you on this one Steve. If half the i've been there since 72 or whatever had actually been every week then the club would never have been relegated to the 4th div etc....

I've been a regular since 83. I lapsed in mid 90s due to living away/finances/marraige.

I was there in 71 when we just missed out on promotion. Our attendances were good and I think the same as today. The following season was the start of our decline. We fought relegation that year and our attendances fell dramatically. My fear is that history could repeat itself. Glad we have the Malaysians on board because I dont think they will allow that to happen.
