Most of them wear the clobber or run around with a author of hooligan books. They should expect it even more so at places like Newcastle

maybe so but the Geordies should pick on guys where the actual numbers were even and NOT bully smaller groups of fans despite what u wear ( including many in blue shirts ) or indeed anybody wanting to have a drink and a chat with Annis ? Plus throwing stones at the CCFC supporters Club buses which didnt contain guys in clobber or indeed any famous authors doesnt make them exactly tough guys does it ?

And just because I know it will wind up Ben, guess what career I'm looking at going into
See you all soon.
No, they didn't stop them fighting, that's true enough. But they did let 'agitators' congregate for no other reason than to cause trouble and, when they did, they didn't do enough to prevent them from causing that trouble. And there were some know troublemakers there that the police knew were there for no good. So, what did you expect people to do when they came under attack?
Oh I agree it was incompetant policing. The same as Newcastle the week before. And where you say what do I expect people to do when they are under attack.....are you saying it was Chelsea who started it all and Cardiff were just defending themselves. Didnt seem that way as I was walking out of Stamford Bridge and some "fans" were smashing things up.
I was seperated from my friends so jumped up onto railings as there was complete standstill with chelsea and cardiff wading into each other at the front. Some kid, no older than 10 was stood by me crying because he was frightened and was seperated from his father/friends. He didnt know what bus he was on on where the buses were. Do you think thats fair? Do you think the police can be blamed for that? Cos I sure as hell don't think so. I think the middle aged men who were stupid enough to start fighting amongst other fans where there was CCTV that were to blame for terrifying hundreds, if not a few thousand people.

How is stating facts stirring things up?
Are you disputing the fact the majority of Cardiff City supporters are scum?
Just calling it as I see it. Nothing abusive about the way I said it. And I know for a fact the majority of supporters of most clubs from around Britain who've had the pleasure of having to be in the company of Cardiff fans would tell you the same thing, why in your opinion do you think this is?

Sorry, radical view here. But if there is CCTV of those City fans actually throwing punches and goading then surely they should be found guilty and have a banning order?

Vintage 63 wrote:I do believe outside Stamford Bridge there was hardly any police presence at all and it was Chelsea fans who just indiscriminately had a go at anybody , any age wearing CCFC colours . So what happened after that was totally inevitable BUT could and should have been prevented by the OB , they were told by CCFC supporters leaders well before the Saturday to let the City fans stay inside for 30 mins or so to avoid any confrontation , but did they listen ? Plus why did the OB allow so many Chelsea fans without tickets to gather in the area all morning before and during the game plus why didnt the local Police spotters pick up the dozen or so Wolves fans that were also milling about , wtf were they doing there other than to cause trouble ?
