First off, I am not Gethin Jenkins.

Second, as for the denying the embargo, exactly where did I deny it? I asked what embargo and why do we have one. That is not denying it, just asking a question.

Thirdly, I would imagine the only ex player who you know hasn't been paid is Warren Feeney. Have you spoken to ALL ex players and asked them?

How do you know that EVERY current player has not had their bonuses? Have you spoken to EVERY current player individually?

And yes, I am sticking up for Jenkins on this occasion as there is nothing in his statement that ANYONE on here knows 100% is lies. NO-ONE on this board knows whether EVERY current player or EVERY ex player has or has not had their bonuses. It is confidential information and I, for one, do not discuss my wages and bonuses with other epmloyees and I would say that a lot of people don't.

Funny story is, I havent spoken to Feeney for a week, I thought you might think that, I do know more than 1 player.

But answer me this, do you know and have you talked to EVERY current player about their bonuses? And, do you know and have you talked to EVERY ex player about their bonuses?

Can you 100% tell everyone here that you KNOW FOR A FACT that EVERY player, current or ex, has not had their bonuses?

If you cannot do this then Gethin Jenkins statement is not all lies. That's the only point I was trying to prove.

No if I AM HONEST I HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO EVERY PLAYER
But 3 players tell me that ALL the players have a prob of some sort with their monies.

Of course it should't , its feckin embarrassing, but we are skint, so to blame Jenkins isn't fair. He's only an employee.

He has to prioritize who gets paid and it seems to me that he's got it right.

I also feel that the players should get their heads down ,get on with it and sort out their grievances behind closed doors.

FFS Chopra's basic is more than every single person in my businesses including myself and my brother (40-odd in total) earn COMBINED !
If he struggles to live on that then he needs to sort himself out.

Thank you for being honest Forever Blue. Nice to have a debate without petty name calling.

We will now have to wait until next week and see if the rest/all of these bonus payments are made. I am confident they will be as I assume that some of the money put in by the Malaysians over the past few days has been set aside for this matter.

Yes I am picking on Jenkins because his statement to the PRESS IS 100% NOT TRUE and THATS WRONG IN MY OPINION.

But Gethin Jenkins is ony an employee, albeit the most senior one.

Surely the chairman and bpoard knew what he was going to say. And he is not the man who provides the money.

Caught between a rock and a hard place isn't he?

Why dont the others on the board put their hands in their pockets and pay the players the money owed. Surely thats a small ask after all this money the malaysians have put in.

At the moment they are just dealing with the problems left from the previous regimes - left with £30m of debt, vitrually no income for 3 months and a million pound a month plus wage bill to pay.

Personally I don't think they deserve the criticism and it should be aimed at the previous regimes, who failed to pay the tax, built up huge loans, borrowed at ridiculous interest rates, turned down an opportunity to sell a player for £6m who subsequently went for bugger all and bought players they couldn't afford and gave them ridiculous wages.

I really can't be bothered this year, I don't want to get involved with the hierachy shit but for fucks sake, we back the club week in week out, sort it out and put your own cash in just like the Malyasians are and keep this squad together otherwise it's league one for us year!!!!

Only one of them is onn the board now though. Unless you are counting Borley (surely he can't be blamed) and Whitely who's never been a big player- apart from bringing the Malaysians in ?

If its Guy who deserves the stick then lets give it to him, rather than the board as a whole, which WILL make it seem like the malaysians are partly to blame. or worse still to Jenkins who is just doing his best with no resources to play with.

Bit by bit PMG's influence will recede - the malaysians are already calling most of the shots and as they put more money in their grip will tighten.

Isaacs is new to the board and Whitely was the one who brought the malay-

Not sticking up for the players does not mean you're automatically 'sticking up for the club'! Every man and their dogs know we are skint and everybody has to wait in line, including the players. Surely it would be better they kept any grievances in-house, I don't think the club has ever said they won't be paid? The players, by involving the PFA, are making it more difficult for us fans to stomach, we're continually asked to show patience, understanding and LOYALTY! It's about time the players, or the players representatives did the same! :ayatollah:

I have a bit of sympathy for them as they HAVE put in - to the tune of £11m. They will be gone soon, I'm sure, but like it or not they've played their part in getting us here. Maybe they have been good businessmen too, but without them we wouldnt have the ground.

Nothing wrong with reminding them of their responsibility to us though.

All this talk of the players don't deserve their bonus' etc just because they earn alot of money and because they lost in the playoff final is nonsence.Imagine you working hard all year to hit your targets set by your employer then when it comes to paying the bonus they ask you to delay it a year im sure you have a right to be peed off! If the club can't afford to pay these large bonus' or large wages they shouldn't agree them in the first place. Its club that needs to sort it out not the players,It hardly motivating for the players just at the start of the season. :(

I understand Borley and Issacs contributed towards the recent wages and this probably has resulted in the Malaysians agreeing to pay off the tax. Like all of us you understand why the Malaysians shouldn't put in any more money than they are at present so there simply isn't any more money for the players so its a little unfair to attack Jenkins at this point as his statement was carefully worded and could prove to be correct.

Your absolutely right that the current mess surrounding bonuses etc will not attract players but that is just the way things are at the moment. I personally am now waiting for January in the hope that the current playing staff can get us there in a decent position in the league by which time the Malaysians and the other possible investor will have ceased control of the club.

PMG are simply not interested in the club anymore, they have all that they have ever wanted out of the club. Maybe turning on them will bring the full takeover a little quicker. Not quite sure how but id did work against the Ridler. Personally I think we are just going to have to wait out the current strategy being employed by the Malaysians and look forward to happier debt free times

But thats not how you treat players in a professional club, I do agree they were a bunch of loosers.

They wouldn't be the first employees forced to renegotiate terms in the face of financial distress with their employers. It would be good to see professional footballers fed a dose of reality. As with all clubs, these guys have long been overpaid and it is situations like this that hopefully mark the end of the dysfunctional gravy train many/all have been riding. I have little sympathy and we owe them very little.
