jon stead for mccormack....what a silly bit of business. I know ross needs/wants first team football, but why are we bring in stead.

IMO its a good move for Ross, Stead and for both clubs especially ours. Ross peaked season before last and thinks he is a lot better than he actually is whilst DJ will get the best out of Stead just like he has done with Jay.

I was very sceptical about this at first but now realising we may have 4 quality strikers on our books, I'll be more than happy with that. I think ever since Ross said he wanted to leave last summer it's been inevitable that he would go, when players fall out with DJ they rarely come back and perform or get the chance to. I'm chuffed with our midfield and attack now, feel we can take on anybody in the league. Still slightly worried about left back as if Mcnaughton gets injured got forbid I don't know who will play there comfortably, and center backs he seems determined to play Hudson which I personally can't understand. If we get Olifinjana great, if not i think we have enough in the middle to match anyone anyway. More good news, this is certainly a change from the start of the summer, things seem to get better all the time at the moment.

Ipswich lost the same number of games as us last season I believe, now they have Ross as a striker those draws will become wins, they'll be up there challenging at the business end of the season.

aren't we all city fans irrespective of which board we prefer to use. Christ its my dads bigger than your dad on here, yeah but my dads got a nuclear warhead blah blah blah

Should information only be diseminated to those of a particular board, who cares about where it was posted first. any news on here is quickly posted on ccmb and other boards and vice versa. thats the beauty of the wunderweb, it allows information to travel fast...which clearly is the main point of posting.

It is annoying and tedious. However it is only a few who seem to get a kick out of it. Whatever their problem is who cares but they do annoy the majority of us with it. Sadly there is not much the majority can do about it as really its down to each boards moderating team to do something about it.

I prefer this board to all the others, I have my reasons. I do cringe when I see posts belittling CCMB on here. Overall though I accept its difficult to eliminate so I am quite willing to live with some of the posts than seem to avoid detection. I would rather not see these posts but as in life you cant have everything.

I, like you, have my reasons for preferring this Messageboard. Not least (IMO) because I think
we generally are a bit more up to date than CCMB on here thanks to Carl and a couple of others.
But FFS its not the Krays versus the Richardsons. Its not North against South Korea. Its not even a
Cardiff V Swansea thing. The fellers on both boards who cant wait to have a sly CHILDISH dig at the
other really want to sit back and have a look at themselves... unless of course they are teenagers,
which is simply a matter of maturity!

I totally agree with both Dave and Ian, as long as we hear it i dont care where it gets said. But I will do my best to get it here first
