It's Peter Ridsdale who's the mystery businessman - he can certainly afford it after all the money he made from our club over the years.
Perhaps Keith Harris is contributing something as well. If so it would be the first time he ever contributed anything!
Thanks lads!

was discussing this in taffs well while at th emerthyr game (7 goal thriller by the way 4-3 merthyr) if bellamy is in fear of not making mancinis 25 squad what if there were an offer made to him for say 15k a week with a good promotion bonus should we go up and a year contract should man city release him
few good things here are
1 man city off load a wage for someone in the changing room, for one season
2 bellemy does what he likes to do best, play football
3 he gets to play for a club he wants to play for, and be close to home
4 we have a player with an incentive to make it happen
5 parachute money would pay the bonus should we go up
is this possible ??

More great news, even if it doesn't happen the fact we are giving it a go says alot about the malaysians and their ambitions for the club. Imagine Whitts, Bellamy, Koumas, Bothroyd and Chops playing in the same team, our goalscoring ability would be unreal and nobody would be able to compete in our league. Top man Carl for keeping us informed.

Could it be SB ??
His way of supporting the Malaysians and getting commitment from them without giving any financial benefits to the eggheads.

I have never been a proponent of a 'star' player taking to the pitch whilst all around him are on a fraction of his wages. Not only have we been here before but Bellamy comes with a history of discontent in the dressing room. It would be a huge and very costly gamble.

I would imagine that the discrepancy in wages would be far bigger in this case

but maybe it would inspire these lesser players into making it to bigger and better things coz I guess they know all about the wage difference when they chat to him playing for Wales ? But I see your point tho , ur on about the Flower and Hasselblank fiasco ?

Not specifically. I just don't think that enormous disparity in wages is the most cohesive scenario. And what happens if that individual fails to perform?

i wouldnt call hasselbaink a fail. he scored one of the most fabulous goals in Cardiff history, surely his age took his toll, but he WASN'T as bad as Fowler.
