Times have changed, i will say that this is by far the best mb that you have, honest people who have and i dare say will continue to put in numerous ammount of hours work to keep your goodselves informed on whats going on something which i personally think has improved the image of you club by a hell of alot.
Unfortunatley with the times we live in people will always look to spoil the good hard work put in yet i can asure you im not here to do that if i was i wouldnt expect to be allowed on here for long,as for my posting Re Embargo all i will say is that the source who informed has always been pretty nailed on,if hes wrong on this then so be it.At the end of the day we are all fans of football wether it be cardiff or Swansea enough said about me fella's just thought i should let you know a little on my views,so far.
Fairplay to you Lacoste Jack. Unlike some of the idiotic jacks on CCMB you come across as a decent poster (even if you do support the wrong team)
Regarding the embargo-it is not true. Had a repayment plan not been in place then embargo would be in place.

Inside sources have already confirmed the Embargo was lifted about a fortnight ago! before the transfer window was even upon us....
So your source is well out on that one im afraid.

The only transfer embargo will be one from our tight fisted board.

League rules say
From now on, any club that falls behind with its employee related payments to HMRC will be subject to a transfer embargo until such time as the debt is cleared.
From:
http://www.football-league.co.uk/latest ... 81_1746094So as long as we have actually
fully paid our tax bill we should be fine, if we are still paying back then the embargo will still be in place. If we haven't fully settled then we will need to use some of the season ticket money to pay it off.

Good to hear, Now go and pay back the people your club screwed when you paid 5p in the £
Fri Jan 01, 2010 7:03 pm
Indeed, and the jack fails to grasp the ONLY reason they got away with 5p in the pound was the clown Hollins failed to turn up on time to vote against the action.
Meanwhile, Colin Addison, who nobody in the game has a bad word for, kept them up in the league, screwed out of 100k.
And indeed, the Jack fails to grasp people lost their jobs, some companies went under. Companies owed money by the Jacks.
And they bitch about Martinez crapping on them...

Swansea's actions (along with leicester and others) caused teams to have 10 point deductions which istotally wrong. Wrexham are nowout of the league because of it and numerous other clubs have suffered. When the league announced 10 point deductions for clubs entering admin they should have deducted 10 points of all clubs who had entered admin to avoid debt repayment.

Rumours are rife that two of our spanish players are leaving, also heard last week that trundle was signing till the end of the season in which he has and the other player mentioned is at the present only playing as a bit part striker in the premiership but over the last few seasons been a very prolific goalscorer,if we do get him it will be a cracking signing.
that beattie is poor and trundle is a bit washed up so yea i think you need a goal scorer which amigos are want away jacko?
Fri Jan 01, 2010 7:16 pm
wilts,i cant argue with you, some of those people owed money were decent folk but i honestly think that if they hadnt done what they done then who know's where we would be today,if that result against hull had been different we may not be in existence today, but yes i do agree to some extent on what you said
Fri Jan 01, 2010 7:20 pm
to my understanding Bone Pintardo and Bauza, there not championship players may as well throw in angel rangel as he been playing poor this season, never rated beattie, trundle is a 45 minute player so we need goalscorers or we shall find the second half of the season difficult

same could easily happen at city mind as well in the future anyway the business side of matters has nothing to do with this jack supporting his team hes a decent poster no need to snipe at decent away posters leave that to other boards

Perhaps all the people who dissed me out about the transfer embargo will see that i was right now .
corky and tlg thought i was talking out of my backside over this issue and i asked the chairman at the muni meeting and he denied it too.
it was voted for by all the clubs in june 2009
Fri Jan 01, 2010 7:59 pm
Corky & Tlg are too close to the club as they try to build up a trust and hang on to what they can grasp as being important fans they just fall for what they are fed to spread the gospel for others i never doubted you for one steve
Fri Jan 01, 2010 8:04 pm
thanks blue
lets hope we have in fact paid the bill in full otherwise the embargo still stands.
looking on the football league site it states that all debts to be paid in full so i hope we are not in the stage payments agreement with the revenue.
mind you i have always thought the season ticket money is about keeping the club going for the next few months
Fri Jan 01, 2010 8:18 pm
steve, yet another informative post, and lets all hope they have paid off the hmrc
Fri Jan 01, 2010 8:27 pm
dont look like all season ticket money will go to dj then as stated

I can see your point Jon but I'm not sure the club have to pay the tax bill in full to avoid a transfer embargo. The regulations say if a club falls behind with its payments then the debt must be cleared. The reference to 'debt' is any missed payments as you cannot be 'in debt' before payments are due.
Therefore provided the arrears are cleared and any agreed payment scheme adhered to then any club wouldn't be in breach of the new Football League Regulations.

Who knows, but if we owe HMRC money I'd personally call that a debt, whether we are paying it in agreed installments or not?

The regulations say clearly that any club that "falls behind with employee related payments to HMRC" will be subject to a transfer embargo.
The key phrase is 'falls behind' i.e. failure to pay by an agreed date.
Therefore if we have agreed a payment schedule with the HMRC and stick to it we can't be in breach of the regulations.
