I never shared in the hype surrounding Joe Ledley. He was and still is a limited footballer who was slow in thought and deed.

He would NEVER get into this City side and if truth be told his performances during the last two and a half years with us did not warrant him being in the side then either.

Joe's got his money and we got a far better team.

When he decided to run down his contract before moving on, he was thinking of no-one but himself.

I'm thinking of myself and Cardiff City when I say "f**k him" - he's not a concern of mine.

I know it was only against a pub team, but Joe linked up brilliantly with Bellamy in the recent Wales game.
|I am guessing we would not have got Drinkwater in if Joe had stayed so he would be in the team.
Agreed, he was badly advised. I was in Glasgow the day he signed, and unless he enjoys hiking in hills he will probably wish he was home. Amazingly, it rains less in Cardiff as well!

Joe feels regret that he has left and I sympathise for him to be fair, as when he made his decision things were not looking so bright on the playing side, the kid wanted desperately to help take ' his club ' to the Premier League and now that Koumas, OJ and Bellamy has signed he is telling friends that they will be up there at the end of the season.

Joe did not let us down he smply moved on, at a time when many thought we were going backward, even Chopra was speaking out publically that he would leave if we didn't make signings to push us on.

I don't think anyone begrudges his moving - what I thought was a mean selfish gesture was not agreeing to a contract that would have meant us having a fee.

An annoying little oik, who listened to every word his agent told him and was totally incapable of making any decision without him

Bellamy's has only won one major honour in his career the Scottish FA Cup. Joe has an oppotunity to win honours in Scotland and should concentrate on that now.

We have moved on and so has he.

So right. 4th Choice at best. Though he might regret it it was probably the right thing for all concerned. His departure allowed us to bring in the likes of Olifinjana whilst he's made his money with a signing on fee and a bigger wage packet. If he had the club at heart he would have signed a contract with get out clauses. I've no sympathy for him in this matter.

At least we don't have to see the debacle of a Ledley Captaincy any more. I suspect he might have been awarded that so as to up any compensation fee we might have hoped to have got.

He's probably looking forward to playing and travelling around Europe over the coming months

Ross is one of my favourite players over the past few years. I think he is a very talented player but doesn't make the most of it.

I can fully understand why he wants to move on and I wish him luck in all he does, but does he really have to go to dirty Leeds? Arrrrrrrgh awful thought.

part of me feels sorry for him, at the time it was like he was abondoning a sinking ship..

but part of me also is glad that he regrets it as he couldve thought about us and signed a new deal even if he did want to move anyway..looks like it doesnt matter anymore because of who weve brought in..which is what he regrets it for so GIRFUY!!

defo good times right now!!!
