300k seems a small amount, though, although presumably there will be sell-on clauses if he goes somewhere bigger in future. (He may get his act together off the field)
Good luck to him - potentially still a good player. But he could fall flat on his behind - time will tell.

That amount will no doubt help finance the Keogh deal so again the Malaysians are operating a good housekeeping policy, even if it means losing a favourite player of mine.
Personally I have no problem with the current transfer policy. We are asset building through our academy whilst avoiding paying out huge transfer fees but are still getting in experienced players who will make an impact. Also it would be daft to pay transfer fees whilst we have this Ray Ranson thing hanging over us.
I understand these players will return to their parent clubs at the end of the season, but what is to stop us loaning players again next season? For me it’s a no brianer.
PS Thanks for another great update Carl.

They might have been thinking that at one time, but obviously something went wrong when Rossco met up with Keane.

agreed - not happy with £300,000 at all, however like you I hope a massive sell on clause has been included in the agreememnt.

All this climax about more big name signings is getting out of hand now, as long as we sign riggot or atleast one more centre half i will be very happy!!

He came on a lot last year and made very little impact. The bottom end of the transfer market has fallen so much. Top end has gone mad but at our level 300k is probably what we can expect for Ross.
