Where does this leave season ticket holders? Will Cardiff City F.C offer a refund pro rata for the games missed?
Probably something in the t's and c's already that covers that possibility.
I hope so for them, this is no longer acceptable is my view
No longer 'acceptable' in which way regarding Cardiff City FC's uncontrolled position?![]()
Oddly enough, for the club and season ticket holders, we are all in this together and without choice

A relegation battle without fans.

It just goes to show what an ill thought out policy this was by Mark Drakeford. You cant go and watch your team in their home ground but you can go and watch them play in England.
Drakeford starting to make himself look even more foolish - didnt think that was possible

Just shows what a mess the WAG have made to say you can't sit out doors in a reduced capacity stadium.
You wouldn't feel safe?! Ha
This is the mass hysteria the media and Government have created. Not feeling 'safe' in a f*cking supermarket.
I wouldn't feel safe in the centre of Kabul, I wouldn't feel safe walking through a dodgy estate in London in the dark, I wouldn't feel safe standing on top of the Severn bridge with no harness! ... In Asda, doing my weekly shop, with a few other people and a cold floating around. I think I'd take my chances!!

Morning Sven, I am thinking the business of Cardiff City F.C. How many other businesses could temporarily move 100 miles+ and still maintain the support of it's fans/customers. It is possible, and therefore not 'uncontrolled' the decision to LOCK FANS OUT, to move temporarily put fans first. I don't want the club rewarded for closing the turnstiles, that's my taxes funding it.
I know some history on defiance in the football world. Newport 'exiled' to play home games in England on a matter of principle. They refused the FAW mandate that they join WPL.
Where are these heroic stances based on principle gone? Where are our heroes?![]()
I want to to remember times when clubs were brave and would defy pathetic orders from authority, now clubs and authority in cahoots, both got hold on the whip.![]()
Oh well, we're locked out, let's just buy a TV package, pop down the Club store instead, wait for our masters to allow us to be allowed back in![]()

Cardiff City f.c, Newport County, Wrexham, Swansea agree that fans should be banned from games and that's a fact.
On season ticket holders, it's 2 interrupted seasons and the club hasn't done anything about it, made no contingency measures so why even bother getting one.
Season ticket holders are fans of LIVE sport, mingling before and after the event, having a laugh with friends. If I got offered a TV pass i'd refuse and get money back from Club on this principle and stream it anyway. They are not supporting season ticket holders.
I disagree locking fans out didn't come with any other choice. I disagree this is some kind of war and that we're all in this together. I personally feel outraged about any restriction to my liberty, there lies a fundamental difference in this debate.

Hi ThomasC, I don't disagree with large amounts of that![]()
But my point was that this cannot possibly be laid at Tan's feet and surely, like the WRU, they are just 'playing the game' by agreeing with the inept bunch (WAG) that sadly, as we have seen, hold an almost perverse 'power' over all things Wales right now, including open air sporting events that have worked without raising the Covid rates directly to date
Wales currently has the fastest rising rate of infection in the UK, despite the ban on open air events, so there is (as even many politicians accept) no real reason for enforcing the outside sporting events

Hi Sven, I am asking too much of the club. The practicalities of moving are obvs not that simple. I can make that known this isn't the Club or Tan's fault. More frustration and wishful thinking on my part. Have a great day![]()

100% we should move games, not just to have fans there but also financially it would be better.
Even if a 10,000 seater just over the bridge, would provide vital supporter and financial support.
