It looks like a back four to me. Ng at left back and Romeo at right back. Philogene left wing, Ojo right wing and Colwill in the 10 behind Wickham.

Twine played in fown the left for Burnley and he looks to cross into Barnes. McGuinness clears.

Chance! Brownhill flicks it over the top and Barnes, 20 yards out, smashes a volley - way over the bar.

All Burnley so far.

Ng does brilliantly to skin Gudmundsson and hits a stunning crossfield ball to Ojo, who makes an absolute mess of it and the break ends with him miscontrolling it into touch.

Frustrating for Cardiff, as they have had very few opportunities to break so far.

Barnes is found behind Rinomhota and Wintle on the half turn, but he hits a pretty tame shot and Allsop gathers.

Nice bit of play then by Cardiff but Ojo can't do a simple trap

Rinomhota with a fantastic ball over the top to Romeo, who does well to chop inside, into the penalty area. He lays off Colwill, who doesn't catch his shot cleanly.


It falls to Wickham, who should put the ball in, but he is offside! Muric saved it anyway.

Burnley break and Barnes tries his luck again, but Allsop does well to deny him.

McGuinness reads a ball over the top really well and heads it away from Barnes, who had made a clever run.

Allsop punches away really well. Good save from the goalkeeper.

We are so uncomfortable with the ball at our feet

Good from Colwill, who spins on the half turn and hits Philogene on the wing. He cuts inside, ready to pull the trigger, but is dispossessed at the crucial moment.

McGuinness does well to take the ball from Barnes, but then gifts it back to Burnley with an errant pass. Zaroury, again, floats his shot high and wide.

Twine with a shot from 25 yards - Simpson stands up tall and blocks it well.

Wickham does fantastically to win a long ball and keep possession before feeding Philogene. He again cuts inside and tries to bend one in - but Muric saves easily.

Another top save from Allsop. Twine is slotted through and he hammers a low shot. The keeper gets down to save well.

So far it has understandably been a game without passion, although both sides are trying to get the ball forward with Burnley having the better opportunities

Burnely then take their opportunity and go a goal up...!

Philogene ignores Colwill, who had made a good run into the box, and looks to go alone. But his left-footed shot is tame.
