I am in the 50/50 camp but he was employed to do the job of keeping us up & he did so added to the question of who else would come here I say give him a chance.
In all fairness, Huddersfield finished 3rd last year nearly thirty points ahead of us. Although some players were sold, they still had the core of a decent side, so Warnock didn't suddenly turn them into world beaters. He did though give them the belief that they could perform better than they had under their previous manager, which they duly did.

Neil Warnock actually did an amazing job once again and beat many top sides to stay up, finishing 4pts clear of Lamouchi with 3 less games in charge.
Huddersfield were 6pts from safety, Cardiff had a 6pt cushion.
Two of Huddersfield's best players were sold to Forest in the Prem for £10mill.
Huddersfield looked down and out, where as Cardiff were never in the bottom 3.
Warnock came in had 15 matches W7 D4 L4
9 of those 15 games were v Top 10 ten where he beat quite a few, Lamouchi never beat one top 10 ten team.
Huddersfield also never relied on Reading losing 6pts where as Cardiff did.
2nd from bottom and 6pts off safety
Reading minus 6pts
Wigan minus 3pts

Although we will never know for sure, even with Warnock in charge of us do you believe we would have had enough ability tohave beaten 9 of the top 10 teams. I don't, which strengthens my belief that Huddersfield were not as bad as their position indicated when he took over. Having said that I agree that Warnock would still have got more points on the board for us than Lamouchi.
For the record I think that Warnock is a fantastic manager and part of me still wishes he was still with us. Looking further ahead, I think we have to give Lamouchi a chance because we cannot put up with the managerial instability that's been so evident recently.
