The Birmingham game in the sunshine stands out where we dominated the game and it was a bit of a breath of fresh air to watch. I also thought he had an eye for a player too( didn’t he bring in Cody Drameh and Tommy Doyle?) And at the time, though a massive gamble, I thought his outstanding record with the U23s meant he was worth a go given Tan’s decision to do things on the cheap. I agree though that he came across as arrogant and his public slating of young players was awful!

Yes def you are FB / Twitter is absolutely flooded with fans dislike for him.

I actually think he would if taken us down.

And for Tan to agree to take him back just shows how bad he is.

Look where he has ended up.

The 0 v 4 game and after game combined - unforgivable...

18th in Table.

His arrogance shining through

A real manager takes it on the chin, plans forward, develops players, listens, leads, reads, makes mistakes and is wiser for it.

That doesn't seem to be the case here....

He got sacked because he got ahead of himself and upset the boss; never a good move... ;)

It was about time someone stood up to them interfering especially on match days, but hey ho it was a knee jerk reaction which they obviously regretted it as they wanted him back recently!

Quote "They" didn't want him back; only Vincent Tan did and thankfully Mehmet Dalman got his way...

As for (quote again) "time someone stood up to them", that is a very noble thought but one that is always likely to lead to the nearest exit door...

As in all spheres, there are ways to get your point across to the 'boss' and screaming down a phone to them is not no.1 on the list of good protocols... ;)

My personal view, and I said it at the time,is that Steve Morison's arrogance, (reported) bullying attitude towards younger members of tge squad and inability to deal with pressure from above cost him his job and letting him go was the right thing to do...

Too many on here seem influenced towards Morison by the subsequent 'poor' appointment of Mark Hudson and the resulting slide in form and results...

We had a very lucky escape last season and it seems, finally, that one of those (Mehmet Dalman) has woken up to the fact things desperately need to change and thank goodness for that...! :ayatollah:

What exactly is this bullying of youngsters? Is it telling them straight as it is or something more sinister.
We had Bellamy and Morison.

I think a better word might be 'belittling'; something I don't believe Craig would do... :ayatollah:
