Re: Embarrassing / Shell-shocked Rob Page accepts blame for

I might be wrong but did Page say “everything happens for a reason”?

Well he could be right because if it happens against Turkey he might just be sacked and this squad might just get a manager who can use them in their correct positions.

I could be wrong again but wasn’t Moore married a few days earlier and posting pictures of it? Could be the reason why he was a headless chicken ( I don’t blame him, I’d have been the same) he shouldn’t have started.

Hey ho bring on Turkey

The Wales national team has been like a brilliant boys club

The senior lads ran the show. Bale, the ultimate pro with his premier league levels mates ran a tight ship. All the manager had to do was hold a few light training sessions, do the media stuff and pay the hotel bills. The art was just letting them get on with it without getting too carried away.

For the world cup, the boys looked at the situation and tried a system that had Ramsey as a 6 because Bale needed to be given a free role but needed legs around him in the top third. It didn't work, sadly after 16 years of brilliance Gareth Bales's legs had totally gone, so had Allens and Rambo was unfit. We had a hiding.

Bale retires, Rambo takes over but the old school have gone so they bring back Gunts as a waterboy, and surprise, surprise we are even worse than the Autumn.

The manager needs to take over now, but the manager needs a pair and a system. Not sure we have that with Rob.
