Dalman was at the game yesterday though wasn’t he?

Yes he was and he met Ramsey earlier on.

My only reservation is that it’s being made out he wants to come home and that it’s not about the money, but he still wants £25k a week AND a share of merchandise sales?

Surely he could get more elsewhere but that’s still quite a lot of money for a Championship team to be paying someone.

It’s almost comes across that he’s trying to have it both ways.

Robinson is on £27000 a week so you don't think Ramsey is worth more :banghead:

It's not that much. Robinson is on £28k a week.

Ramsey could easily get more than double that somewhere else.

He wants to come back but he still needs to be paid a decent amount, he's a quality player.

I'll say it about merchandise again. He only wants a percentage of whatever INCREASE there is on merchandise sales from last season, not on all merchandise sales. It's a very fair deal he's asking for.

Been said above that Dalman met with him earlier so hopefully they sort the details out and get it done this week before the team go to Portugal.

Where is everyone getting callum robinson is on 28k a week. Everywhere online is stating 18k a week and just one other source stating 20k a week?

Re: Ramsey Problems??

Wed Jul 05, 2023 3:48 pm

this is about tan the control freak and not wanting someone in the club who is loved more, nothing else - the guy is deluded and needs outing

Re: Ramsey Problems??

Wed Jul 05, 2023 3:49 pm

Just shows no one on here know what Robinson’s salary is Mentioned on here is 4 different salaries People hear a figure and think it is fact.
Let’s just wait and see what happens Ramsey may want to play for Cardiff City but he will not do it for free He still wants the amounts of money that most of us can only dream of.

yeah I’d be surprised if he was on 28k a week considering the big thing last summer was that we were supposedly aiming for a 12k salary cap

exactly

Re: Ramsey Problems??

Wed Jul 05, 2023 3:58 pm

only thing I’ve seen suggesting Robinson on anywhere near 28k was his supposed wage in the premier league for West Brom which was then shown to have (again supposedly) fallen to about 18k when they got relegated, and then that we have him on 18k

all in euros too mind

I know it makes me laugh.

One pretend ITK states he’s on £27k a week then up pops another pretend ITK and states it’s 28k a week.

Annis has stated in the past he was brought in on £15k a week which I believe would be nearer the mark.

Name me ONE possible signing, who is a current international, who is willing to join us in our current circumstances!

People getting picky over Ramsey need to remember we are shopping in the whoops section of players!

Give him whatever he wants, roll out the red carpet!!

I have never pretended to be ITK.

Only once have I stated on here that a transfer is definitely happening or that I had knowledge about something at the club that was happening (which did happen). That was over nine years ago.

I said £28k because that's whats been reported on here before.

Take it all with a pinch of salt. There will be negotiations going on. Sure we will find out next week.

Reputation as a decent poster means a lot to me. I like people to be interested in my posts and for that reason, I do not post things to set the rumour mill going.

As a former club photographer and Newspaper photographer, I still have friends, within the journalistic community, who bring things up now and again. As the adage goes I never reveal my source but the reason I posted this was because I believed it to be true.

Personally, I hope things get sorted and that he does sign this week.

Haven’t been on the forum ( as a poster ) for a while but I have to post to say I agree.
You are a top poster from what I have seen and got a little worried when I noticed who the OP was.

I have known people within the club previously and deals go wrong and the final second so nothing is final until a contract is signed.

If Ramsey wants a percentage of whatever increase there is on shirts sales compared to last year then give the man what he wants...he's potentially turning down another 2 years on much higher wages to stay in France so we gotta meet him half way...we all know how stubborn Tan is though

I wasn't saying you have reason to not he trusted, don't take my comment the wrong way.
Its just alot can be said or misinterpreted.

But obviously not knowing your previous role etc it holds more interest.

But I do feel its just typical contract negotiations.
Ramsey will get pretty much everything he wants.

Yet another example of how this club doesn't seem able to do anything right. Contrast this with a club 40 miles or so to the west.

Re: Ramsey Problems??

Wed Jul 05, 2023 8:30 pm

To me, it seems somewhat absurd that we will willingly agree to pay football agents the sum of £1,409,916 (2022/23 figures) yet we cannot give Aaron a little something, a gesture, for wanting to share his experience with us and to be a role model to those younger at the club.

Re: Ramsey Problems??

Wed Jul 05, 2023 8:33 pm

He will get what he wants. It's typical trying to play hardball.

Re: Ramsey Problems??

Wed Jul 05, 2023 11:29 pm

If the problem is the part of the sales from shirts etc sold - then just give Rambo a different choice /deal ;)

Remember this is the same club who gave Kenwyne Jones £30K a week + £10K when he played + £10K a goal :o
If your in doubt about the above - Look up the history on this board when it was reported :old:

I doubt anyone in any club "willingly" agrees to hand over anything to an agent, it's legalized robbery and the alternative is find players without an agent.

Typical Tan and his City sabotage.

He's nailed Dalman, and put a cloud over the fans desperate for some feel good...
Tan will have gate receipts, boost for potential players and some limelight here ffs..

No Rambo, no merch anyway ffs..

We're still a club in spite of him, not because of him......

Think we all know some people read bits and take the parts that suit as a fact to have a dig at our club.
I don't think atm anyone can knock the club, no matter how much tan is despised. To me it looks like they are taking this season seriously and planning on having a go at it.
We shall see though :bluebird:
