You can tell this referee is Portuguese

Fortunately the result won't count for anything!

Soft penalty to give away but Romeo hand was definitely on the opponent's shirt.

Still not a bad performance by our reserve string against a side in the Champions League.

HALF TIME

Braga lead 1-0 thanks to a soft penalty decision.

City did well in that first half against decent opposition though. Looked dangerous on the attack and some very good, quick passing.

Especially impressed by Evans, Colwill, Collins and Adams.

Tanner struggled to get into the game at all and Etete not done well with his opportunities.

Wasn't a bad first half, pretty sure our team is what Bulut considers fringe players

Goutas with an outstanding challenge to stop a certain goal

Good play by Grant and Robinson's shot saved, but Robinson was offside

Grant doing very well, he has a lot of pace

Unbelievable challenge from Goutas to stop a dangerous attack. (1-0)

Goutas reminds me very much of Roger Johnson in his defending. Always being in the right spot to clear

5 Top players for us:

Grant
O'Dowda
Ralls
Goutas
Evans

5 Not so good:

Tanner (forgot he was playing)
Rhino
Romeo
NG
Meite

Second half was good, grants pace working with o'dowda was the highlight

I know it is pre-season so large pinch of salt.

But given what we have ATM I would go for:

Alnwick

Ng Goutas McGuiness O'Dowda

Wintle Ralls

Robinson Ramsey Grant

Ugbo

I think we need a right back as NG is a classic fullback not an inverted wingback and that classy midfielder to replace either Wintle or Ralls.

I'm not sure Ugbo is the answer, to challenge we need an out and out goalscorer, but he looks better than Etete.

Any reason Ojo and Bagan didn't get a runout?

Difficult to argue against that nmate. Possibly Robinson up top in place of Ugo and Meite on left.
