I notice nothing on the scumsea forum about us paying it but 6 pages when when didn't pay

I'm pleased to see the debt paid up, although I wonder if this will result in little money being made available for transfers over the next couple of seasons? (as from January)
I'm not holding my breath!

Am I missing something? What is wrong with the club saying....

"We look forward to the trial before the French court next year."

It is said in respects the the case against Nantes and has nothing to do with the sad past event.

It could also mean looking forward as opposed to looking back.

Not sure why poster Paul Clements says it is embarrassing for the club to pursue the legal cases against Nantes and the agents they used in the French courts. Should the people who had a part in causing the tragic loss of the life of Emiliano Sala not be pursued?
Would he rather it to be dropped and the likes of the McKay family (Willie and his son) benefit hugely financially from the transfer? They stand to receive around £1.5m in fees now that the transfer funds have been paid in full.

Bang on , some fans in their hatred of tan have forgotten that sala lost his life and the club have lost 20 million pound .

I think some forget this, Keith; and I can think of nothing more disgusting than Chez McKay profitting from their ill-gotten gains...

The club (nee Tan) were/are still are right to seek recompense for their losses and we still don't know (you might enlighten?) if the club were 'holding back' the payments on legal advice...?

Ultimately though, I'm glad payment has been sorted and any legal challenges will no longer affect the playing side directly, i.e. via an ongoing embargo...

I may be in the minority but I've said before I think the club had to go through this process to get where it is now, with someone to hold accountable.

Was just looking at it from another angle, I have no idea why tan said he wasn't our player. Can only assume he was advised to legally to get to this position. That's the only thing that makes any sense to me.
Can't see why else anyone would drag this on like it has been.
