So here goes...
I have now spoken to people at the QPR game on both sides (supporters and officials) and it seems most of what I put out was correct and the decision was taken without consulting those affected and who might have wanted to have a choice in where they go...
Several posts on this thread pointed to Wayne Nash as the decision-maker for this occurrence and for the actions of the stewards...
With complete trust, I can now confirm the decision was NOT made by Wayne but by the Chief Safety Steward, who has such decisions (good or bad) as part of his remit and with that in mind, I feel Wayne is owed an apology for being dragged into the debate above...
Further, I agree with those who say personal attacks on anyone are not great to see. We know from experience Wayne can be a pain() but it's not good seeing people getting abuse from others who can hide and post in anonymity...
Hopefully, a lesson to be learned moving forward...![]()
Thanks for providing the clarification and some facts in your posts. As you say, unjustified criticism based on rumour (and possibly a personal vendetta or two?) is not helpful.
What other posters have also not mentioned is the reported unacceptable behaviour of a small number of fans (not kids) in that area of the ground that had to be dealt with - behaviour captured on bodycam records. It doesn`t take many to possibly spoil it for the majority.
Out of interest, what is classed as bad behaviour to merit this action , I ask because I sometimes get the impression that Cardiff City employees continue to treat football fans as if it was 20 years ago.
Moving seats just so they could goad away fans with obscene language and gestures. Then directing the same bile to stewards who asked them to move back to their proper seats and getting aggressive. Needed the response team to threaten to bring in the police before they reluctantly moved.

That's tarring all youngsters with a brush when the reality is (and I've witnessed it) some youngsters have caused little or no isdues and still been picked on and/or ejected...
They certainly don't do the same to the (shall we call them) more mature goaders and we don't see them doing much to the away supporters either; as witnessed when the Jacks were throwing coins (one of which cut a lady near me) last season...
All we ask for is fair treatment according to the (supposed) crime...

I wasn`t tarring any youngsters. The group I was referring to and their specific behaviour were older fans in their 30s
