Who were these “ 5 “ and where are they now??

Interesting to hear which 5?

I would be shocked if it’s even 5 we’ve lost in 14 years??

But the points I am making are the last 14 years we keep getting told like the last 3 years especially that the current crop of youngsters are future stars???

Gabriele Biancheri At 16 joined Manchester United, I really hope he makes it.

Crew Leeds last, season Biancheri Man Utd
Benjamin Wolves. Rabbi Matondo Man city

It looks as if its four as I believe the player in this article above is Biancheri tapped up as long ago as 2018.
It got that bad at Brentford they scrapped there acedemy: and
started an u 21 team.,and only in the last 12 month started an academy back up

So 4 in 14 years and how many have them have made it as a Premier player or even a Regular Championship player.

Rabbi Matido am I right in Man City got rid?

So be honest as I actually know what happened to everyone of them.

Have we really been producing talent in the last 14 years and been losing many? and have we produced regular Championship players that have made it?

The two more successful ones in recent years were released at 16 Wez Burns and Tom Lockyer both had to go over to Bristol City and Rovers

Other championship clubs, including our friends down the M4 seem to produce under the same "poaching" conditions as us. May not be world beaters, but it feels like at a greater rate than us.

The Jacks have made fortunes out of their players

Former Academy players who were kicked out and have made it include Lockyer captain of Premier League Luton and a Welsh International,Andrew Hughes another Cardiff boy and regular Championship Player with Preston NE. Our biggest mistake was probably letting Jarod Bowen leave after a trial, now worth £50 million and an England International! Who makes these decisions at the club?

Mate over the years how many have been poached from us and become great players,

That's not the point they could have become different players with us instead they've got lost in the larger academy systems.

Have clauses whereby
1. They can be released without any compensation if they are absolutely useless, not training properly etc. If I didn’t perform in work, that would have been my expectation- after being warned and counselled first of course.
2. If the player is to be retained, then have a sliding remuneration scale if they don’t perform as expected before their signing. Increase their pay if their form and attitude improves. Then fire them as 1. above if necessary.

For many years our managers have chosen to keep bringing in seasoned professionals who occupy the places in the first team to the determent of youngsters being given a chance. This is a policy which has led to young players just making no headway as footballers and just going from one season to the next making no progress at all. Yes, there hasn't been an Arron Ramsey come through since Arron himself, this is down to the young players themselves not being allowed to develop within the club.
The numerous managers we have had have developed a culture of fear in giving young talent a chance to develop in a orderly manner.
