I’ll be surprised if he ends up here. Hope I’m wrong but just can’t see it

FOOTSOLDIER wrote:It would be great to have Moore back, but would it be worth the money? Realistically we will not finish in the top 6 this season as there are teams in this league much better than us with more financial clout. Would the club be better consolidating around the mid table area and building for next season with the aim for a promotion push. I don't believe the current team is relegation fodder and with a few more players being added now or in the January window could get us a top half finish outside of the top 6. :bluescarf:

I agree with you. People are focusing on Moore too much when we need a quality Centre back. If Goutas gets injured we're in trouble. Could be season ruined.

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola delivers update on Kieffer Moore's future amid Cardiff City links

The Cherries boss was asked about the future of the Welsh striker, who continues to be linked with a return to Cardiff City this summer

Andoni Iraola says he expects Kieffer Moore to stay at Bournemouth - for the time being, at least.

Moore has been heavily linked with a move back to Cardiff City in this window, having spent two years in the Welsh capital before leaving for the Cherries.
He made his first start of the season in the 3-2 Carabao Cup win over swansea-city-fc>Swansea City on Tuesday night, and has seemingly fallen out of favour at the Vitality Stadium.

However, despite withdrawing the 31-year-old at half-time during the win over the Swans, Iraola has suggested the forward is still part of his plans.

"Right now we have three forwards, with the option also of Justin [Kluivert]," he said. "We are happy with Dom [Solanke]. We have different options. You never know what will happen in the last few days of the market, but we are not especially looking forward to his moment."

Asked specifically if he expected Moore to stay at the club, he added: "Yes. Right now, this is the situation. You can never guarantee anything with any player because sometimes circumstances change from one over to the other. But this right now is the situation."

Cardiff boss Erol Bulut refused to be drawn specifically on suggestions he might be interested in the towering striker.

Asked whether the Wales international might possibly be on his radar this summer, following Tuesday's win over Birmingham City, he replied: "Right now I cannot say anything. Wait until Friday and then we will see surprises, I hope!"

No managers tell the truth during the transfer window and to be honest why should they? Why reveal your hand in the game of transfer poker?

Yes, but it doesn't look like he is coming though now does it, they are basically saying he'd be a good backup to the backup.

Semenyo is getting games for Bournemouth, you have Solanke too. Moore is falling behind the pecking order quite a bit.

I hope Moore works on his finishing, never seen a guy get that many heading opportunities and miss them with his height.

Moore 100%.

Which is why I like the Etete loan idea, get him first team chances somewhere to work on his game.

In fairness, he hasn’t been himself since the good season with us. So I do hope the move works for HIM, he can crack on with his game and get to where he was before.

Sheffield United could decide to make a late move for Bournemouth striker Kieffer Moore before Friday.

United are ramping up efforts in the transfer market as the window draws to an end before this weekend.

The Blades have signed eight new players and look to be on course to adding another in the form of Luke Thomas from Leicester.

However, it seems Paul Heckingbottom is not stopping there and he’s looking at how he can use his Premier League loan options to further add quality to the squad.

Attacking players are the key for Heckingbottom and he is widely expected to make use of both Premier Leagues in this area of the pitch.

And according to The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath, Bournemouth forward Kieffer Moore is among the players United are looking to sign.

Taking to his social media account on X, McGrath has said that Moore is a man in-demand as the window draws to a close and Moore is a player on United’s list of potential signings.

Thursday 31st August 2023

Tom Crocker of the Bournemouth Daily Echo for the very latest on the Kieffer Moore situation.

He said: "It wouldn’t surprise me if Kieffer Moore left Cherries before the deadline, but only if the club can find another striker to bring in.

"Andoni Iraola is more than happy to keep him if not. I always expected this one to rumble on right to the deadline and seems like it is going to!"
