Definitely a player there was one of our better players towards the end of last season

But he needs games and needs to be playing regularly so a loan move might be best for all concerned

Can see him scoring 15 goals in a full season for someone like Charlton

I feel half and half about this.

I don't think he'll get much game time here and yes I think he does need to improve

However he does have 2 goals from 2 starts in the cup. Clearly can put the ball in the net and is an asset even on the bench

I agree, I think he’s got it but he’s not ready yet to be the main striker.
I think he’s a great back up/squad player for now but better if we loan him.

The report says we won’t loan him unless we get a replacement which makes perfect sense.

What age do you think he will be ready for the Championship??

Striker Etete nearly 22 yrs old 30 appearances/ 3 goals Bluebirds

Badly failed at Notts County / Northampton and Cheltenham.

I’m sure you rated Steve Morison? Mark Harris etc etc the opposite every time Hmmmmmm

Many on here and fans outside this message board thinking and saying the same as me!

I’ve no idea what age he’ll be ready for the championship as everyone is different.

Yes, he’s 21 and I’m happy with his progress as wez says he’s hugely improved since he arrived so I’m hoping he’ll improve with a year or so out on loan.

Glass half full with me pal.

Just my opinion :D :bluescarf:

I'm with you too.

He's a grafter. Good team player and seems popular.

Has pretty much all the attributes but the finishing, again pretty important for a striker. But the easiest to work on!!

He should've had a hatrick on Tuesday for example.

Cardiff City striker Kion Etete is another striker that has been made available before window shuts and circulated to all clubs.

Correct he’s a Striker and not producing, we can’t keep players like Etete and Harris they are for the lower leagues unless we want to go there.

It’s not about liking someone or feeling sorry.

Correct he should of scored a hatrick and failed as he is not good in front of goal.

Is he a Striker?

His previous clubs and goals for us for me show facts, not opinions and says it all.

Erol Bulut not so impressed

Totally agree….a good run of games out on loan and then decide to offload or not …
Liked him with Kaba last season and thought they did ok.
Trust Buluts judgement at the end of the day tho!

Erol Bulut:

Etete can only leave if we have replacement

“Kion Etete would not be allowed to leave the club unless Cardiff had a striker replacement lined up and then he can go.”
says Erol Bulut.
