I couldn’t care less what other fans deem as loyal, all I know is I’ve spent thousand watching city over the years and I enjoy watching them whether it’s on the tv or at the CCS. This day and age gate receipts play less of a role in a clubs financials and it’s more about the deep pockets of the owners hence why we’re in so much debt and teams like Bournemouth are in the prem.
The top Premier league clubs aren't dependent on gate reciepts but the rest of us are. It all contributes, otherwise tickets would be a few quid and beer would be a pound a pint.

Loyalty equals: attending matches regularly, thereby contributing to the club coffers and getting behind the players in person, not in front of a TV.
Sounds like a preach this but can't be helped.
I guess I'm not loyal then because I watch every match on my ipad from the USA. Grow up.
Give the guy a break. We all have our views but the "grow up" comment was totally unwarranted. I am not knocking those who didn't go, 2 games in 3 days is expensive, but there's a world of difference in your circumstances and someone who watches it on tv regularly from their front room in Canton.

Bit sensitive there? I should have expanded on this as don't want to unintentionally offend anyone.
Pure frustration from me on the 10k drop off in attendance - I understand that's life and it'll happen again and has happened many times before.
To clarify, if anyone chucks money at the club either by attending quite regularly or buying shirts each season or paying £10 a throw to watch City games online, then that is loyalty and supporting the club.
I grew up a long time ago thank you. Just my point of view, although it was not all encompassing initially.

Exactly. If they support my club in any capacity... they're a brother of mine! ... Even Sven

In fairness, at about 4pm in the valleys I was considering starting to build an ark there was that much rain. But the forecast for Cardiff was fine so took the trip, and very glad I did!

Forgot to mention there are plenty of exiles living in other parts of the UK who do more away games than home matches. It all counts as support regardless

I went Saturday and really enjoyed it but watching city on the firestick in the comfort of my own home with the best view of the game is hard to beat. Most of my mates who used to be season tickets holders do the same. Doesn’t make us any less loyal it’s just the convenience of modern technology.
Of course it makes you less loyal! In fact watching on some dodgy fire stick demonstrates zero loyalty. What if we all did that?

Calm down buddy, I still go to a few games and I buy some merchandise at the end of season sales. I had a season ticket for 15 years, I’m in my early 30’s now and have kids, prioritise change. If I was single in my 20’s or a retiree I’d be going more. It’s not black and white, there are many factors to consider. Just be more considerate for other peoples circumstances yeah?
