.....but we lost again.

We have lost 2 and drawn 1 of our last 3 games in which we scored 1 goal and conceded 4 and had a total of 7 shots on target. In these 3 games Wintle, a defensive midfielder, started as a No. 10

I know it's all about opinion but how can you say he's right. For me the above stats say opposite. He's setting up a defensive team from the start and every opposition now knows this before a ball is kicked.

We have to start with a more attacking team, definitely at home and some away including Huddersfield tomorrow. Believe in ourselves and go for it from the first minute. If we are winning after 60-70 mins, then bring on Wintle or Adams for Robinson. If we are losing, then substitute the attacking players, we have lots of options in the front four.

Just because we lost it doesn't make the manager wrong, nor does it make him right when we win.

I think we were unlucky to lose.

Blackburn have very good attacking players, so I believe it would have been self destructive if we'd started with a very attacking line up.

I also haven't seen anything from Colwill to warrant a start this season. Robinson maybe has something add but I still have concerns about his work rate.

However, I do agree that we shouldn't sit back tomorrow. Huddersfield are a poor team that we should be expecting to beat. Would like us to be more attack minded.

I agree on Colwill, should send him out on loan in January, hopefully to a League 1 team where he can get games.

Would you start Robinson instead of Wintle against Huddersfield?

Erol Bulut:

Blackburn had 1 shot on target and scored clearly. In my opinion Ugbo offers nothing at all upfront. Don't think he won one header off a long ball which we seemed to do alot and his hold up play is terrible. When robinson and tanner come on we looked much better and had a go. Personally I'd have rather had a go from the start. It kills me this let's watch a dull boring game for 70 odd minutes where we hardly have the ball, create f**k all chances and are losing anyway then suddenly the last 15-20 minutes the manager makes changes and we start to have a go to try get a draw or win. Rather lose 5-4 and have a go than know your probably going to lose 1-0 anyway. Then the very next game we do the same thing from the start as mentioned above.

I noticed this, also. A definitavie up in his work rate without the ball.

Worcester

Question for you: as you've said it would be self destructive to have a very attacking line up, what midfield and front players would you deem to be 'very attacking' using available personnel?

Bluebird 1977

Agree with you. Last 3 or 4 games have done my head in for the same reasons.

Bulut says he sets out to win every game but it seems to me he's setting up not to lose lately.

Against Blackburn I thought it was the right line up because of how attacking they can be, but I do think we should attack tonight.

First of all I'd want a mobile striker to start. As others have said, Ugbo offers very little. Given that Etete is still not available, the sensible option there would be Meite.

Mike asked me above should Robinson play ahead of Wintle today and there's definitely a good argument for that. Sadly we're limited in that position while Ramsey is injured but Robinson is the best option.

Bowler did well on Saturday so hope he starts again.
