Harris has got in before.

Likely because Harris is better, and operating at a league above.

Levels.

Mullin would score goals at league one level.

He's been there. For Tranmere. Sparky got a better return at Championship level...

Football League One
Year 2019-20
Games played 20
Goals 3
Assists 1

Even Watters out performs that return. I'd start comparing him to someone more his level.

But lets not let fact get in the way of a good marketing machine.

Funny you should mention 2019-20. That’s when Sparky was on loan in the National League scoring 3 in 24 for Wrexham. He’s got 2 in 24 games at league two level.

Sparky has never scored more than 3 goals in a season at championship all the way down to national league and he has played in each of them.

Don’t let facts get in the way of a whopper of a post.

Excellent. 3 goals at championship level. Sparky is setting the bar.

Now bring Mullins total at championship.

Levels.

Mullin has never played there.

The point was Harris has been selected for Wales whereas Mullin has not.

I have pointed out how Mullin has out performed equally (three goals) or out performed Harris at every level apart from Championship level. That is a level he hasn’t played at.

That shows Mullin has as much if not more right to be selected for Wales. It shows if he was given a prolonged chance at league one level or a go at championship level he could out perform him.

That’s my point. Give him a chance and it might work out well.

Excellent gloss over of that major "apart from". I'd try and worm out of it, this many posts deep, also.

He can have his chance, after the pecking order of Welsh strikers ahead of him either retire or go out of form and don't get replaced by others.

I’m not trying to worm out of anything.

Harris has been picked for Wales Mullin has not.

Harris has scored three championship goals in four separate seasons for 9 goals in 89 games at that level, at league two level 3
in 24, league two level 2 in 22 and 3 in 24 at national league level.

Mullin has 3 in 20 at league one level, 72 in 240 at league two level, 64 in 84 at national league level.

You keep saying levels but there’s nothing that indicates Harris is any levels higher at all. Mullin has improved with age and Harris might do that too but there is literally nothing to prove. Harris’ goals have come in two games and he’s Oxford’s joint 4th top scorer. He’s not elite at league one level or higher and he hasn’t done it at league two or national league.

Let’s be honest, If either are in the Welsh squad we are in trouble.

Both are closer to Alfe Inge than Erling.

Good debate. Have a class weekend.
