Panzo likely to stay unless we bring in another center half, which i think would be highly unlikely!

Even i with a pea size brain and putting 2 and 2 together making twenty two had an incline that moore was likely to come here.

Igovernor wrote:So me saying that Moore was coming in the Summer was a guess? It was what I was told, and now Bulut has said we tried to get him in the summer, and it went down to the line, if Bournemouth could have got the striker they were after then Moore would have been our player!

too simple isn’t.

Can only pass on what your told if it comes true its a bonus, transfers are not 100% untill its done and signed . Loads can go wrong .

Apart from Moore, the other 2 players would never go near a team like us. Having a midfield with those guys, Siopis, Ramsey, Ralls - gives us great depth to push on.
With players like that linked, very curious to who else we can bring in for the other positions of need.

I've been rather vocal in the summer window for the posts that were made however the way I see this post is that there are actual names here, which appear to be well known (or should be) to Bulut, so vast improvement on the posts from the summer.
I don't know much about the players other than Moore, anyone know if they would be an improvement on our current 11 or more squad depth?

It amazes me that fans get so wound up when a genuine poster like Roger states what he has heard on the grapevine.
I don't know what grapevine Roger is plucking but it is so much more accurate than most posters on here.
Keep the news flowing Rog, and if some "fans" don't like it they can do one.

Just a little more info.
A left back will be coming in in January, I think most people on here would have guessed that, not been told what the terms are, also there are plans to make Runnerson permanent so as to free up a loan space.
Sun Nov 26, 2023 8:42 pm
Every transfer window you say the same……you have to get one right

I'm not sure about the goalie from what I've seen but will trust the manager on this one and at least he should be on a free or a very small fee as I believe his contract at Arsenal runs out at the end of the season.

When i was told this i thought no i do not rate him at all but, if Bulut wants him, what do i know

I’ve seen nothing from Runnerson to think he is worth a permanent contract??

LB makes sense.
Collins going to AFCON and O’Dowda’s injury record means we need another anyway.
Thought for a while Runarsson would eventually be permanent even though he’s struggled so far, not wanted at Arsenal and won’t cost much. Think he’s fine as a back up goalkeeper, but Alnwick should be first choice.

What a refreshing change from the doom and gloom of recent seasons. It puts a spring in the step!

Igovernor wrote:There are 3 players that we are very very close to signing.
Moore is basically done and dusted, as I have posted enough about it.
Then we have, 2 that are very close to finalising
Anastasios Bakasetas midfielder, who's wages which i posted yesterday are not a problem!
And lastly we have
Salih Ucan, midfielder
As long as there are no earthquakes or sunamis, come January there will be 3 new players, and I believe there will be more!

Nice one IGov, keep posting what you hear most of us appreciate it, ignore the haters

Maloby_Blue wrote:Great if it happens. Its clear Bulut wants more creativity in the centre of midfield and the more quality players we have there, the more we won't have to rely too much on Rambo.
Still find it hard to believe though. The current Greece captain who is worth €10m online and a player from Turkey worth €5m. Along with Moore that's a big expense. The foreign guys still have 18 mths to run on their contracts too.
I'm not saying those sums are what they are gonna cost us, its just so unlike CCFC to spend in this way...very very surreal!!!
Most of those online figures are plucked from the air and are over inflated.

Left-back, always going to happen we've had no cover for years, and Striker 100% needed also, Moore would have scored much sooner last Saturday and was what we needed, these were our biggest weaknesses. I like Runarson, he's made a few mistakes especially Saturday, being way too far outside his box, but maybe that's what Bulut wanted, I think he'll come good by the end of the season.
Mon Nov 27, 2023 12:50 pm
Runarsson has the talent, was quick and decisive to get the ball out and distribute.
He was definitely shaky and rusty in the game and probably best as a backup for now. But a great idea to make him permanent and if he continues to develop, he could be a future starter or a profit.

There is always one, some people do not understand that in the transfer market things can change, and often do

Many, many more than one
To be fair he’s actually named names this time, which is much better than the cryptic stuff over summer.
A fit Rambo will be like a new signing.

Great that there's such positive rumours flying around at the very least. I would add that we have 4 league games in January. For once it would be great if we could bolster the squad closer to the 1st Jan than the 31st Jan. A few extra points now could mean all the difference come May.

I agree quick business will be key and I think that's always what people aim for , I think Moore will happen quickly. But with inflated prices in Jan and clubs waiting for more money I think some will end up being end of the month. But we can hope

Anastasios Bakasetas has refused two new contract offers from Trabzonspor amid links to Cardiff City, as talk of his exit from the Turkish club intensifies.
The Bluebirds have been heavily linked with the Greek star in recent weeks as well as in the summer. The attacking midfielder is a player whom Erol Bulut likes, having worked with him before at Alanyaspor.
The Greece captain, 30, sees his contract expire at the end of the current season, with Cardiff having been linked with a move both in January and at the end of the season. And in a twist in the player's future, Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan last weekend said: "We made two offers to him. It is true that the player did not respond positively to them.
Bulut has spoken of his admiration for Bakasetas recently, but hinted that finances might be a problem if Cardiff were serious on bringing him to the Welsh capital alongside his compatriots Dimitrios Goutas and Manolis Siopis.
"He is a player I brought to Alanyaspor when I was there. We got to the cup final and got into the Europa League, with Siopis, at Alanya with me," Bulut said of the attacking midfielder.
"Also when I was manager at Fenerbahce I wanted him there, but we couldn't make it happen, so he went to Trabzonspor. In Trabzonspor he won the cup and he is playing well.
"I think the amount he is earning in Trabzon, for our club, it's not possible to pay those wages. That's why this deal looks difficult for us. He is a great player and I know him very well. We have been a long time together, we pushed him to where he is right now and he knows this. I know what he can give to a team."
