OT: WAG bankrupting councils.

WG if have no money how are they spending £93m on temporary accommodation?
Simple fact is landlords are selling up for whatever reason leaving councils to pick up the slack! And councils should try building homes in places that need them! recently built 20 odd social housing homes in St davids another 4 houses going up more planned... they had trouble allocating them as no one wants to live in middle of nowhere 16 miles from civilisation and friends /families....
Ps have and are building homes at cost of £450k+which sell easily here.....like said build where needed not where get backhanders to do so

Statement:
In Wales we have too many levels of government all being wasteful in their own ways.
Tier 1 - 22 local authorities all looking after themselves and more importantly overseeing services for 3.2 million people ( many English authorities govern a this means 22 CEOs costing an average of £180K each as well as 22 paid leaders of councils with all the structure that is required below that level. Question why is it that we have some LAs for up to 80k people and others with 3.5K people
5 Police Commissioners (politicians) ???
Tier 2 - Welsh Government with 60 MS plus all the support mechanisms required to sustain it
Tier 3 - 38 PMs
Tier 4 - Numerous government quangos

When we get the leader of Local government authorities in Wales bleating about having to safeguard jobs he probably means his own and all of his cronies.

If we were to trim that lot down and organise it in a logical order then we as the people of Wales would get the services needed

Socialist government will always favour quantity over quality when looking at jobs. Regardless of cost or outcome.

The gravy train is the only way to become a champagne socialist. None of them would survive outside of it.

25 years and we’re worse off than when we won devolution, absolute shambles, we need to look at ending devolution as it’s clearly not worked
