Re: POLL: HAS EROL BULUT DONE ENOUGH?

Surprised that I'm saying it but I'm on the fence. He had a great start but we've been going backwards for a while. We are in relegation form currently.

I really want stability coz I hate chopping and changing managers. I'm just worried he can't motivate the players enough - where is that side gone that beat Swansea and Bristol this season?

With managers like Garry Rowett and Alex Neil available, I really don't know whether he's the man we should be giving a medium term contract too. I really want to be wrong!!!

Not sure that Warnock would do a better job with this team.

He got us promoted but that was with a much stronger team than this and he had money to spend.

Don’t forget he left because we were struggling in this league and he had a better squad than this. Not sure he would have this team within three points of the play-offs.

Yesterday was beyond awful, but I certainly didn’t expect us to be three points off the top six at this stage of the season. On that basis, I’m pleased with the general job Bulut is doing.

Another thing is Warnock is highly experienced in this league, whereas Bulut is stlll learning.

Warnock is a short term option for anyone. We have been down the road of having short term managers but now we need stability. I believe Bulut is the right person to take us forward.

The only people who would be happy if Warnock came back would be his dodgy agent mates.

Approach Steve Cooper or Nathan Jones, local boys who know the Championship unlike Bulut as we are not going up or down this season.

What what what?!? Are you on drugs? What big money signings?

That poster likes to make up facts and hope that nobody will challenge him over them.

By the way, we are nowhere near the top six on wage budget - we’re actually very close to the bottom.

Yes. It's been apparent for 12 games we need another 6 in. Building this season and then all about the summer. Nobody thought we would be 3pts off POs at this stage with what he inherited and even with his signings. We do need a couple in though in Jan as we all know, not expecting much but enough to make us comfortable.

He’s done a fine job thus far.. from where we were last season, we should be grateful. For some fans, reality is something only to be imagined.

These stats are not bad considering the squad he inherited and the limitations of his replacements

He does indeed , I'm amazed we've done this well with a rag tag squad of medicore players ,purchased cheap, folk forget we got slapped with a transfer embargo..

yes
purely down to living off scraps

Loans and free transfers

At the beginning of the season my expectations would have been bottom to middle of the table and he’s exceeded that

Backing should be in the summer for next season though

I think Tan will either back him or sack him, I fear it will be the latter and we will be back to square one, we can’t keep on changing managers we need stability and investment in decent players.

Rambo took a massive pay cut and managed to get a percentage of shirt sales with his name on, it was a similar contract that Bale was offered….

4 Loanees from prem clubs!! Try 3 Panzo and Bowler from Forest and Runarrson from Arsenal..
Ugbo came from Troes (French league 2) and Grant came from West Brom who, last time I checked, are same league as us…

As for Siopis and Goutas they wouldn’t have been offered high wages as free agents.

Joe Ralls was the highest paid player we had for a while until he renewed his contract last year.

Stop talking shite will you

So far, I think this poll reflects the thoughts of Bluebird supporters pretty accurately...

Most appear to believe Erol Bulut has done well with the tools he has and may well do better with some decent additions...

Keep the faith...! :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

The player’s ludicrous salaries are killing football.. fair play they should make a good living, but they’re paid too much. Man City’s punishment will hopefully change everything. I see them where I work, and they fritter away out hard earned wantonly. Up to them, but a lot of them really couldn’t give a shit about the fans, they’re so thick and arrogant they believe their own bullshit. Some are really decent guys, but overall, it’s a sick sport.
