If true, this is about ££££s, nothing else as he wouldn't get in their front three.

Got to be the most un-done 'done deal' in forum history.
Thu Feb 01, 2024 12:04 pm
Ipswich news.. no deal done.
Thu Feb 01, 2024 12:13 pm
Sky Sports News just now, Ipswich are on the brink of signing Moore, to be announced soon.
Thu Feb 01, 2024 12:15 pm
Talk about death by a 1000 cuts, I hope it done soon... next.
Thu Feb 01, 2024 12:16 pm
Announced on sky on to the next.
Hoping there’s another one lined up

i have posted this on a few of the older "Moore" topics.
from everything i have been told, Moore has no real intention of joining the championship on a perm deal, he'd rather stay in the prem. if he did drop down, then a club would have to seriously match his current contract. but from my understanding, he would prefer a loan deal to get himself fit for the euro's and then look to leave Borunemouth for a prem club in the summer.

Sky Sports reporting the news. It's understood the deal is a loan until the end of the season and will include bonuses should Ipswich achieve promotion to the Premier League.
Bournemouth and Kieffer Moore will gain big bonuses if Ipswich are promoted and Ipswich agreed to pay all of Kieffer Moores wages.

This could be a massive risk for KM
If Ipswich play Nathan Broadhead ahead of him then KM will almost certainly be considered behind Broadhead for Wales
Thu Feb 01, 2024 2:22 pm
Like I said elsewhere, he has no real love for Cardiff city & always, 100%, follows the money. I'm not saying he's wrong to do that, most players would with Aaron Ramsey being one of the exceptions.

Hopefully he has a terrible half season, they fall out of the playoffs and go bust with the extra wages and he gets no bonus

they are on the way down, they can't even beat Maidstone.

If you are Bournemouth and you want to loan out a player and have a promotion bonus in the deal then you are always going to choose Ipswich over Cardiff at this stage of the season. More likely that Ipswich could get promoted than us . Also one of Moore’s old club’s so he knows the area and club
If Ipswich get promoted they will be after better players than Moore next season

Not really, he won't play every week there, they've more strikes than a game of ten pin
Be better off going to championship side who'll use him week in. Going for the dollar, chasing the dream.
They're a decent side but won't go up this season.

What I didn't (still don't) '
believe' is that you had anything but a negatively orientated '
guesstimate' on the situation...
That it (seemingly) hasn't happened at the last minute is neither down to our club trying hard to get him here or his preference to come to Cardiff City; if for no other reason than to enhance his Wales in the Euros chances...
If you want answers, go talk to FC Bournemouth, as it was they who had the last say on where he could go and at what price; one it appears, our club were not prepared to meet...
For evidence of your worth, go back and read your posts on other topics...!

Bulut wanted him but its obvious tan dalhman and a lot of fans did' nt want to match ipswich lets hope this other striker dies not get injured and has not forgot where the net is
When he was at bristol a few seasons ago
but not holding my breathe if he was a prolific striker he would have not ended up with Granada and you pay for what you get

Rob Phillips says we haven’t given up on him.

Monty, I don't think we could have met all the criteria that Ipswich did even if we wanted to pay stupid money for him. Do you want the club pushing the boat out money wise when players are at their most expensive or in the summer when there's time to actually take our time?
We all know KM is a mercenary who will always go to the club offering him the most money, as are most footballers, he has zero loyalty to our club & never has had despite it being CCFC who gave him a leg up into the higher leagues and I find your loyalty to him a bit strange.

I came back online to hear the Ipswich deal was done and dusted by Sky are still saying its a deal "in principle".

Gutted tbh…
Knows the club
Proven goal scorer for us
Much better than what we have .
We could well regret this as shows a lack of serious intent on getting to the playoffs IF we didn’t sign him cos of the board

Agree...!
It's not 'done' yet; but we need to remember FC of Bournemouth control the situation and are looking for the highest bidder...
At what point does Keiffer become '
uneconomical' for us to pursue...?
We know he's a mercenary looking after No.1 but we need to remember his wages are '
guaranteed', so his destination is the more important issue, i.e. to enable him '
playing time' before Wales' potential trip to the Euros...
It's not '
dead in the water' quite yet, and FC of Bournemouth are '
playing the game' and it's up to other clubs to match or beat the offer on the table...
Tick tock, tick tock...!

My loyality to moore a bit strange?
We are related.
Thu Feb 01, 2024 7:18 pm
Just been confirmed that Moore has joined Ipswich on loan
Thu Feb 01, 2024 7:21 pm
Well, at least we know where his loyalties lie if it’s true we did come in for him.
Having Kieffer would have been a big bonus, but I’m
Happy with what we’ve brought in, and what is coming in tonight.

Doesn't matter wont be missed! But one thing for sure he won't be 1st choice striker in premier league team next season that's if a club would want him? And at least we won't sign him again?

Allan, I don't respect his ethics, but I think he would have been useful here until the end of the season...
It will be interesting to see how his Ipswich move pans out; but I honestly believe his impact will be minimal in a promotion-chasing team that will now have to change a winning style...
I still have Leicester and Leeds as my automatic promotion teams, with Ipswich and Southampton battling it out for the play-off jackpot...
Thu Feb 01, 2024 7:35 pm
Personally I think this is a no brainer for both Moore and Ipswich.
They get a proven Championship goalscorer with no obligation to keep him if they go up.
He goes to a team going well and has a chance to get another promotion.
