A very good performance from city from all players.

We looked solid in the first half with Tanner causing them problems down the right. Second half Tanner scored a good team goal, then Davies made it 2-0 slotting calmly home. Robo with the third and it was good to see us going for more goals rather than sitting back like we did last season.

Davies looked lively in the second half and deserved his goal. Last season in Belgium looks like it's done him good. Whether he'll make it in the championship as a striker time will tell.

Glad Tanner had a solid game, last game hardly seen him

Great performance against a good German team , these are no mugs are are a lot bigger club than cardiff are,whatever anyone says , they have lot of history and there average attendance of 55k last season proves that . Well done city there is encouraging signs that players are working hard for each other .

Lots of positives to take after that, as others have said Hamburg are a decent side.

I still say it’s mainly about fitness but good to have positives.
