Get what you're saying but boothroyd was journeyman before us. Mccormack was a playing in Scotland and chopra I believe was in league 1. If we signed them today there would be backlash like this guy is getting

We need a proven championship striker to push us towards the playoffs and if that means we have to sell Colwill or NG to meet FFP rules then so be it.
If this is the only striker we are bringing in then we will finish in or around 12th again.

Ugbo didn’t have the all round play that Kanga supposedly does. He also didn’t have the market value.
Not sure how you can instantly say he won’t be good enough when you haven’t actually seen him play.
Like I said, I’ll judge him for good or for bad when he plays for us and not before.

Where is there a proven championship scorer available? I know pluckhim off a tree or shop shelf!! Wonder if other clubs do the same? Anyway he won't be announced until later in week as once medical done needs a visa....

Exactly. People go on like there’s proven Championship strikers available all over the place but it isn’t true.
Stoke have just spent £1.5m on Gallagher from Blackburn who hasn’t hit double figures in five seasons.
