Kanga looked good when he came on so I'd like to see more of him.

My point was that we are making the chances, last season we weren't even doing that, so it's an improvement

I suppose. Let’s agree to disagree! Argument over!

I was up before my alarm went off at 4 am & looking forward to a new season after all of the build up & I haven't really done that for a couple of seasons.

Thought we were just too slow getting the ball forward & was disappointed with the result, certainly feeling negative after that loss & the way we played so slowly and pushed the back & forth, it's like we don't know what to do in the final third & pass backwards & sideways which is exactly the same as last year & it needs to change.

There were some promising signs of better chances being made and I agree Kanga showed glimpses of what he can offer. However, I still have nagging doubts about how quick our play is. Calling the performance dreadful is over the top but equally I get the worry and disappointment. Patience is really needed as I think it may get a lot worse with results at the start of the season. We may not hit our stride for a while until all our new signings are fully fit

A prettier version of last season. More of the ball, but still a lack of creativity and threat in the final third. Long season to go but a disappointing way to start after all the excitement.

Same problems as last year , no goals .
Look at our fixtures , we could quite easily have zero points after 6 games . What will the fans be saying then .
You won’t win a game of football if you don’t score . It’s as simple as that really .

I would like to post a positive comment, however the only positive over the last few seasons is the new home kit. :bluebird:

The main reason we look or are slower is certain players do not look to pass forward unless it's 2yrd pass ...several times a ball over the top wide would have put us through but players chose to turn back and make 5yrd pass very irritating when it happens
