Allan
a while back you where saying we need to spend upto 10 mill on a striker and would not be happy if we did' nt get that quality in.

Did I monty? Best Post that quote on here to remind me ... May said cost 10m to get decent striker as we all know it doesn't come cheap....and be surprised if said wouldn't be happy if didn't get that quality
In as we all know tan wont spend that amount on any player ......plus that quality is impossible to get for 99% of championship clubs so not sure why I would say what you quoting. ... but what i posted above is basically true we do have the players to score if bulut plays to their strengths..

Monty not only can't go back that far? But the striker problem is not unique to us take look today teams scratching around to get that striker in as don't have a main one ..... yes we need a good forward but honestly the ones we've bought could fo a job in only given the right service... playing with their backs to the goal with 2or 3 defenders hanging on is not going to get us a goal machine... that's ghe frustration goals all over the pitch as I pointed out but only if play to their strengths

We are not prepared to pay silly money but the opposition will and this is how it has been for 4 years.
Hence no quality striker they cost money
you either push the boat out with ambition or stay in the division bumping along the bottom.

Well less than 2 hours left. Very disappointed if we do not get a striker in. I also thought we needed a left back. Fingers crossed for the next 2 hours.

Why are we so crap in getting a half decent striker in? Look at Frey from qpr he looks like messi compared to ours.
