A 50 year old with 29 games, 4 as an interim manager of Man u, and 25 games managing a world top 10 player and his mates. Then you have "the outraged" wokes, coupled with the Liverpool second teamers.......

It would be a disaster. Its a 60 hour a week job, can't see him doing it with any conviction. As unlikely as Potter, Klopp or Cooper IMO

I would love a gamble on a younger/newer manager but otherwise I really don’t see any issue with Mark Hughes.

I would like to see a high profile manager like Bilic or Jokanovic here but with Tan that ain't happening. Depending on the compensation, the manager that would put his heart and soul into this club would be Nathan Jones. But with Tan we will likely end up with the cheapest option.

It's not all about experience Arteta Arsenal no experience, Zidane Real, Alonso Bayern L, Bellamy Wales, Roy Keane took Sunderland from our position to promotion in his first job, that's just a few examples off the top on my head.
Sometimes you just need something fresh and someone the dressing room looks up to.

Valerian Ismail must be in there somewhere, has previously worked with Riza and knows the championship, is also available

How come you’ve not chosen Darren Purse??

Personally I’d be looking for a candidate who:
-knows the British leagues
-has had success at either league 1 or championship level
-has a proven track record of playing attacking football
-ideally has been a coach at a top club/affiliate so has seen what the best do and has contacts
-is on the way up in their career rather than on the way down
-has a track record of developing or improving players

To me that would seem like someone such as Des Buckingham or perhaps Schumacher who fit most of these criteria.

I was thinking about that one: 'the Welsh Connection'. Who knows whether it would work or not. But I think Nathan would be a safer pair of hands than the two of theirs.

Cooper - bring him home (unlikely)

Henry - attractive attacking football (potential)

Pearson - always speaks highly about us (Definite)

Schumacher For me if I had a choice but willing to accept a manager with hardly no experience with championship football

He struggles in the Premiership, always up against it, he would be really good if we wait a few may become available.

There are some good Managers about, we need to get this one right, maybe it is time for a Cardiff connection with Jones or Cooper. if he does become available.
