With our lack of fire power, the terrible start, and now the extra time/delay in seeing how this coach does (who no1 had ever heard of up until 8 weeks ago)...we simply don't deserve to stay up.

Us fans have tried to stay loyal and faithful...but the club as a whole, with how its run, does not deserve to stay in this league, Tan does not deserve to stay in this league...and we've been on borrowed time for ages.

We dont even have anyone full time at the stadium dealing with the day to day running of the club.

So sad when you think of our potential!!!

Perhaps one goal from open play might make all this negativity disappear...imagine if Kanga scored it!!!!

Apparently club is drawing up a shortlist and riza is only temporary until break to give club time to appoint someone...... that was 4hours ago ....there are fair few candidates so won't run out of options in 4weeks time

If Tan is not willing to pay compo then it takes 5 minutes to draw up a shortlist of managers that are available, maybe another day if he is willing to pay compo, a couple of days to narrow down said list and arrange an initial interviews, a further couple of days to invite back 1 or 2 candidates to present on what they can bring to the team, the club etc following day offer the role another day to sort out contracts.

Roughly speaking that process if not paying compo is 8-10 days, we are already 5 days into that period, if they are willing to pay compo then maybe add another 4-5 days of negotiating with existing club.

Why the hell are waiting until the international break, someone could be in before the break giving them time to work with the majority of the team ???

I honestly wonder if Tan and Choo understand the magnitude of if the team were to be relegated.

We need someone in asap otherwise we could lose (or win or draw) the next 3 games with a different style of play to who the eventual manager will be and the players have to start agin by which time we could easily be too far adrift of the pack.

Act now and get someone in permanent now to implement their philosophy on the players before it’s too late. Even if that is Rizza, not my choice though but it would make sense.

Think the problem lies in there are 5 or 6 managers that could do a good job at city do we want to rush and say appoint Schumacher? See your point about why wait and I've said that before but didn't realise how man decent managers with championship experience are out there.. must draw up a list? :laughing6:

Exactly there are a number of managers out there and have been all week, surely the list should have been drawn up Monday or Tuesday at the latest and first interviews arranged by now ?

To be fair to them if this is true can accept it as can take weeks if haven't already decided to sack a manager and approached someone... didn't hear of an approach before sacking him.... think we'll have to wait and see if they are true to their word or its more BS .... but if go down route of purse we are screwed riza not sure about but not my choice long term.

You've forgotten to add in the time after each step for either VT, KC or MD to show how important they are by getting in touch with local media to talk about how "it is in the clubs best interest and we are totally committed bla bla bla"

That alone will add 4 weeks on to the process.
