Who is in charge of the U21's at the moment?

They're getting some decent results.

For gods sake lets get him in instead of the clowns disguised as strikers.

I thought I saw someone post the other week that he was watching them and how good it was to see him doing it

Yes he was watching the welsh cup game v Cardiff Met.

Get on that bench at least if not the pitch, he will have the time of his life against his old team with Colwill and Tannner and El Ghazi running at them.

I don’t like Purse but his record this season before helping Riza with the First team was a lot better than last year.

Purse had over 3 awful years and our players were not progressing, yet when they joined the U21’s The Club / Fans and Media were praising them.

Since September they have gone up another notch and since last season incredible difference.

As a player I loved Purse and his aggression on the pitch.

As The Manager of Our Kids / NO thank you

Then it seems Purse moved to work with the 1st team, alongside Riza, with the results we’ve seen.
Is he that bad? Or just not liked?
Plus it seems we have one or two more in that squad that could be knocking on the door of the first team again over this season.
Seeing the other youngsters that have been snapped up by the mancs, these on the edge of first team squad and the couple that have already broken through. I get the impression, overall, the academy isn’t doing too badly. Or at least moving in the right direction.
I can’t wait to see Rheindorf given a runout in the league games from what I saw of him in the cup. Kpakio also looked exciting. And ever since seeing Joel come for Ebou when he got injured I’m really looking forward to seeing him in the 1st team.

Annis seems not to like him but purse can only coach the players basically he's given either from the academy or some freebies in, I think he's done an OK job who's the alternative? .this season under purse and now the new team stepping up they sem to have a better group of players than last few years

I see.
Wasn’t there also a change around or amalgamation of some of our academy sides over the recent years, Wez?

Wez,

I liked Purse as a player etc

But what I hear and see from other Coaches at our Club and from players , No I don’t think he’s the right person for the U21’s.
100% I don’t.

Don’t forget Wez, what ever I say you’ve kept to your word you will Disagree with and Twist it.

I've been constant , I think it's a hard job he had, hes had his best players either poached or go out on loan , never settled 11 but better players this year and results were better, who is the alternative annis ? .

Wez,

From one of the coaches to me last night.

I think Darren Purse lost the players there. The results were poor but he seems to be better since working with Riza and the first team, he has a boss now to answer to.
