Overall it was a poor game, Luton like I’ve said on other threads are in a false position in the league.
They are a physical team who did what they needed to, in order to keep our creative players quiet.
We aren’t great away from home, our record shows that.
Just because we’ve had a good run these last few games, doesn’t mean that all performances are going to be at that level, and it doesn’t make a drop off in performance a ‘shocking performance’
Name me 1 player who had a good game out of 11 players with the possible exeption of perry ng maybe you could pass that off as a possible 50% but to have the whole team playing that badly.
Would you be saying the same if it was pompey or plymouth with that sirt ofperformance,
just because it was luton and them on such a bad run
We offered absolutly nothing i header from miete was it the whole game and 2 shots from the halfway line,
shocking perfomance
"in my book",
Or maybe
they did a number on us ?
they where more physical?
We did' nt turn up?
Its a small pitch?
The ref gave us nothing?
We forgot how to play?
It was rainning?

They get a huge upturn in results of the back of improving morale from where it was previously and the players play with more freedom and confidence, however there is a reason they haven’t managed anywhere before and they often lack the experience to guide a team through a long and gruelling season. As much as the players love riza at the moment when they lose a few games and the confidence goes they see that he won’t have the know how to guide them through they won’t love him anymore. It happens so often with interim and caretaker managers and we should resist appointing him regardless of the result on Saturday. Riza has been fantastic and the performances and results have been great and I’ve loved it but it never lasts when they are given the job. We should thank him for what he’s done and given us a good chance of staying up and pushing up the table but we need a manager with some experience who has a track record of playing good stuff as well. Omer has done a great job but in my opinion move him aside after the Blackburn game whatever the result.
