Monty the players have lost the ability to go forward? Preston players ran with ball at our defence/midfield may not got anywhere but they tried we couldn't even put ball in penalty area from 40yrds from free kick preferred to go sideways... going forward is so slow Preston pressed forward 10yrds to block us from going forward and ended up with defenders playing ball to players facing own goal with nowhere to go but pass backwards .... its gone back to bulut ways why? The tiki taki tactic needs to be scrapped. Play football in the oppositions half, don’t play risky football in defence, especially on the halfway line.

You're right. Stop fking about and get 2 up front to give the opposition defence more to think about. Apart from Kanga who sadly should not set foot in this team again, I don't care who our top two are as long as at least one of them has a bit of pace and can have a go, hold the ball up even.

I would like to see the points before Purse started "helping" Riza & afterwards.

I do get what he's saying about the players though, a lot of them looked defeated after the first 10 minutes and seemed to just give up. Is this a symptom of Purse being around the first team or something else?
