Brilliant match, pleased that Clayton is through - probably the nicest Darts player there is.

Don’t particularly like either of these players but that was a ding dong of a game and you never knew who was going to win :occasion5:

Woodhouse is the first player through to the last 16.

Only got himself to blame if he loses this match.

Clayton made things very difficult for himself but beats Gurney 4-3.

He'll play Price or Cullen in the Last 16.

Bunting v Rydz is the final match of the afternoon, with the winner playing Woodhouse.

Gurney slowing it right down at the end for the double and messed his self up.

Good performance by Bunting and he wins 4-1 against Razma, who never looked like he could win.

Evening session begins at 7pm with the matches in this order:

Price v Cullen

Wattimena v Wright

Humphries v Kenny

Re: O/T World Darts Championship

Fri Dec 27, 2024 7:43 pm

Price 2-0 up early on and looks in very good form.

Been a while since he's played this well.

Feels like Price missed about 500 darts at double in the last four legs.

Price wins 4-3 on the deciding leg after being 3-0 up.

What a match.

Re: O/T World Darts Championship

Fri Dec 27, 2024 10:10 pm

Wright beats Wattimena 4-2.

Humphries v Kenny will be next, final game of the day.

Re: O/T World Darts Championship

Fri Dec 27, 2024 11:05 pm

Comfortable 4-0 win for Humphries against Kenny.

He'll play Wright in the next round. Price will play Clayton and Woodhouse will play Bunting.

Six more games tomorrow, starting with the three in the afternoon session:

Joyce v Searle

Williams v Pietreczko

Aspinall v Gilding

Price needs to up his game from now on,think he will beat Clayton and then quarters where there is no room for sloppy darts.
All in all great championship so far.

Price didn’t look comfortable on his doubles really. A better standard of player would have taken advantage of that

Agree with what others have said on here.

Price's scoring was very good but needs to improve on his doubles if he wants to go past the quarter finals.

Joyce beats Searle 4-3.

Another brilliant match.
