Would be better to have someone with experience and knows what it’s like to work under Tan but personally would prefer Mowbray in that position

Dave jones didn't really work under Tan. Jones was the manager in the first year we were taken over by Malaysians and it was Dato Chan who was the head of the consortium

This isn’t going to happen our season spending is over by time we get players in to help ie: strikers it will be to late this season is over!!! Our jan record for bringing players in is usually at the end of the window

I remember that; but I’m sure they patched it up and Tan once said he ‘regretted’ firing him; and considered bringing him back at one point…?

I don’t get what the problem with Dave Jones is.

We played our best football in a generation under him, he made a lot of players significantly better. He made this club a lot of money by buying cheap selling expensive which is the complete opposite of every manager since him. Granted he couldn’t get us quite over the line but the fact he took us to the line with a net transfer loss of over £40 million is a testament to his ability as a coach and a man manager.

He may have taken Hartlepool down but it gets to the stage where Guardiola wouldn’t even get a tune out of teams like that.

All we do is criticise decisions made. We can never get a long term plan as the supporters would shit all over it if it didn’t come off right away.
