Don’t understand why he went public about it to be honest, when it was clearly at a very, very early stage.

Probably because most on here sceptical that we won't go for him? But it appears saying something was wrong as well...

Riza is a rookie but he would have been told not to say anything or to the contrary.

He is keeping the mob happy to appease the protests

We are probably interested but i bet our primary targets are bubbling away out of site. We need at least three forwards so it better be

I think Tan will go for it, his 800 calorie a day city plan is going pear-shaped, so he needs to fuel us or he loses far far more

But we definitely know there was an offer made for this player, because Darren Ferguson has said so.

But Ned,

So low it could be they knew it would be refused

As posted by some above - the way we have gone about this is not the normal way ... usually it's kept quit :o

Yeah that wouldn't surprise me actually.

Awful.

I think it’s a bit amateur from Riza to admit we are after this player publicly. His lack of experience is showing and he needs to be guided in how to conduct a transfer negotiation. I also think we have zero chance of getting him. Unfortunately I think if he moves it will be to a championship club in a better position than us

Was he that bad at Oxford?

Not a good sign that he didn't start a single league game for them this season.

But apparently is highly rated by Palace.

Didn’t play many minutes at all. Can remember one bit of good play he did so in those minutes. Oxford sent him back as soon as they were able. Had multiple injuries on the wing and he still wasn’t selected and didn’t even make the bench.

Think JET for a similar type player.
