My dad took him for under 12s RCT school trials. After 2 mins he said he could only have 2 touches, that far advanced he was. Lovely kid and a lovely family to go with it.

If it's happening every week, surely there's a good reason.

You normally

But it's not just me anymore, a lot are saying it.

The reason is he just isn't as good as some try and convince themselves.

I was always shocked how many of our fans had it in for Whitts, so i ignore most on here.

He is not the messiah, but he doesn't need to be reminded every missed pass or shot.

I hope he does leave us, but it will be upwards if he does and not Barry town

Spot on!

He made some lovely touches and passes last night but because he didn't control the game, many are saying he had a bad game.

The best thing about Ashford I've seen so far is his decision making and composure.

Old head on young shoulders is Ashford something I think Rubin lacks at the moment is his football brain.

He still takes too many touches and makes poor decisions of when to pass and when when to shoot.

Having said that you can see there is definitely a player in Rubin but he needs to start adding goals and assists to his game.

I think Rubin and Tanner are in the same boat at the moment they lack consistency to hold down a starting place and they both impact the game much more coming off the bench for the last half hour against a tired defence.

Agreed. Ashford is looks and is performing like a natural infront of goal. The key I've noticed of him vs. Tanner (not digging out before people start to cry), is knowing when to square for a clear assist vs. shooting the difficult chance. Tanner has scored some great goals, but also missed some big chances when he's shot instead of having the composure to look up and pass.

I really like Ashford, and a solid 5 games. Credit to Riza for putting him in last night
