Well said.
Too expensive
Shopping in bargain basement
untried
No better than.....
journeyman?
There aren't many strikers that don't fall in to any of these categories.

If he joins, i'll be right be right behind him :bluescarf:

100% Do not believe the so called bid Williams has said we’ve made, this is bullshit.

bullshit? when reports in Sweeden are saying we have bid 45m Krona which converts to £3.2m

They rarely settle straight away and hit the ground running, I think we’d have been better off getting a uk based player on loan, someone who is ready to go….we haven’t got the time to bed someone in, after last nights balls up I’m not sure we can even be saved anyway….

A player who has played in the upper tiers of the EFL and has proven himself and not some plastic league.

That'll cost £10m minimum for a striker. Not happening.

Writing players off before they've kicked a ball helps nobody.

Ned also is there one available to buy? And
can we get them to play for potentially a div 1 side? Andv This is not fantasy football where can sighn who you like?
As you say writing off player before sighn is pointless and unwarranted

This.

Dreamland that we're linked with someone at ~3Mill if I'm honest, considering our finances.

Yes well this one looks a lot more promising. And by the law of averages he should be an improvement. The signs are positive….A youngish (nearly 23) striker good height/strength/ skills. Born in Denmark but of Palestinian descent. (Lets hope for a signing and a ceasefire today!!!!!) Lets give some credit to the Board and get behing the lad.

He needs to be given a chance.

Agree with the protest on Saturday.

But our fans don't help themselves when they write off players before they've even seen them play.

People who know Salech say he's perfectly suited to English football and will be great in and around the box - which is what we have all said we need.

Hopefully he turns out ok ,
but reports don't sound good'with him not the player he was.
Will he hit the ground running?
It sound more like he will just hit the ground

The way I see it if true is it's a other gamble on another striker .

Think it's very sad that people on here are willing him to be a failure even before he signs? And before people say there not this thread is full of such comments. ;)

Totally agree Allan.

People don't even give players a chance anymore.

The underlying reason for this is it will give people the opportunity to bash the "CLUB" even more ? Perhaps
club should do sfa and that will make them even happier to bash "CLUB".... :old:

You mean someone like Kaba !!??

Good players do settle in quickly so let’s just hope he is one of those.

Those who say unproven:

Mahrez was an unproven player in the UK
Kante was unproven in the UK
Teemu Puuki wasn’t proven in the UK

Give the lad a chance.

Everyone will support the player, it just seems like another gamble. We are not in a position to gamble and if this gamble doesn't pay off we will be in league 1 next season. Risk vs Reward. Pay the extra for a proven Striker (10 mil) or Risk losing a hell of a lot more money with relegation. I'm sure the board has thought about this ?? or maybe not.
