Solid 8 for me, wish I had done a 9.

I don't like banning people but you're pushing my patience.

If you remember on sunday we had a "newie" who was trying to bait posters. This one could be the same troll under a different user name, plus his username says it all to me.

I did say he was taking the michael.

Would love to see the 23 Names of the posters who gave 7 without ever seeing the three Signings play in the Championship

And me. I'm guessing there so excited over any signings these days I mean we only signed a striker who will actually play the day before the protest to try calm the storm. Yet we have needed one for seasons on end. Some still have horse blinkers to anything the boardroom do but each to there own. :bluescarf:

I did not vote as not seen any of them play a full Championship game yet so will not just make up a rating.

8 for me
If we keep getting young gifted players with energy we will progress .

Re: Poll: Rate our Window

Dear CCFC Trust....

Methinks you protesters too much

1. Either a Jack
2. An Employee of the club
3. Tan himself
4. A knob

Perhaps someone could out up another poll and we can guess who you are?

I'll give my reasons for marking it a 3 below, once I've managed to pick myself up off the floor laughing at your feeble attempt at wit, or is it sarcasm, or is it stupidity ( hang on, another poll opportunity!!!)

Re: Poll: Rate our Window

My reason for a 3....

1. Potential? Yes, massive lack of experience.
2. All players signed have had serious injury
3. Between them, our new players have played a grand total of 9 games this season ( before signing for us) Excluding Prem II and U21 EFL trophy in the case of Alves.
4. 1 perm and 2 x loans? Yeah, pushing the boat out
5. Compare our activity to those around us. Notably Hull. They have got numbers in.
6. Our ratio of out to in weakens our squad massively
7. Bearing in mind our precarious position our outlay and thought process has been extraordinarily bad
8. Plymouth break their transfer record to aid them in their plight
9. We are still lacking at left back and striker

In summary, we have not been fully backed and yet Riza still has to thank the board and Mr Tan personally? For what I ask? Doing the job that an owner should be doing as part of his capacity and role?

Ian,

We see it year after year and we are called Negative.

The same lot praise all the new players they’ve not even seen, I remember I got slagged down for not praising Morison’s 17 players, months later the sane lot saying get rid.

Every season or even 6mths, same lot shouting get rid of Dead Wood.

Yes two are only loans, here to get fit once at their best we will NO longer see.

Three good additions.

People said we needed two things - a striker and pace. We've got them, so they shouldn't really be complaining.

Mannsverk is a top quality player and fans who don't know him will see that.

A good window and I now believe we will stay up comfortably.

Riza should get credit then.

Agreed 7.5 a good window on paper

Bulut has damaged us . Riza is picking up the pieces but by bit turning us around. Yes we took a hammering on the weekend - we learn from it .
We also win games by big margins and this time we lost one with a big margin - that’s football .
Just remember when a league of wales side lose heavily in Europe there are calls to scrap the Welsh league etc etc .
But not the same rules when city get beat .
Bulut has set this club back a couple of seasons and should never have been given the job . Most people on here wanted him to have the job and blamed Tan for not doing it sooner .
Tan extends his contract and then gets criticised for that then we protest to get Tan out . What planet are some of the fans on??
For me it’s a great transfer window and the type of players we are trying to get shows there is a different approach .
I remember when Gary Speed - God rest his soul , first had the Welsh job with our next generation of players including bale, Ramsay and Allen - we couldn’t buy a win . No panic , it just takes time .
Give them time and get behind the team
Just putting my tin hat on .

I have 7 and was open about giving 7.

It’s about the overall window and not just the incomings.

We got a lot of dead wood off of the wage bill and have brought in both a striker and someone who has pace.

You say that we get excited about players who haven’t played in the championship, but there was a point where Taraabt, Puuki, etc had never been in the championship.

Salech has started off well and Mannsverk has got a great pedigree.

I’m not going to write any of them off before we have even seen them.

You say you are not writing any of them off ? i don' t think any one is passing them off,
And passing judgement and putting them on a pedestal before you have seen any of them play is the other side of the coin .

The problem this Dead wood thing.

Do we ever learn we seem to have Dead wood season after season and my 2,3 or 5 players like 8-10

I’m Def not writing any of them off, but Def not saying they are brilliant either till I’ve watched them all numerous times.
