Well isn't that calling him a transvestite or similar? If called a player a ladyboy sure it would be deemed offensive an owner is part of football club so while it's doesn't sound much in grand scheme of things nowadays it will be looked at as :transfobia or something
Oh yea I agree in this day and age something like that would get flagged up but as football fans who been following cardiff for so long you become desensitised to chants like that so at the time I didn't really pay any attention to it but when I saw they had been charged that chant came into my mind and I thought it has to be thats what the charge was for
We as fans may not agree with the action but cannot hide from the fact its racist ...and if fa are citing club for it that shows how they view it? So condeming club for bringing it to fa attention is wrong no matter how people feel about tan..like said if aimed at player same action taken end of story..
So why is calling somebody a Ladyboy racist? Tan epitomises the old saying, you can buy clothes but you can’t buy style. I find the thought of him crossdressing quite disturbing. The FA want a sanitised soulless league, their only concern is money.
Offence is taken, not given. Anybody offended by this, really needs to have a word with themselves.
Mate, The FA have received the complaint from us and have to act, so it’s not them who have started this.

OK what would it be called if you called a player a ladyboy? Racist homophobic?? ... or you saying ladyboy is a nothing thing to call anyone and fa want batter an eye lid over it?? If its a Player or owner or Joe bloggs calling someone ladyboy will be classed under some public order offence no matter what you say or think so fa rightly or wrongly will look at it in that context......

Oh and take a look at what fa have said and you may understand what category the chants come under several to choose from...
And club is always held responsible for fans actions and that as always been case... I don't agree with what's happening but tha isn't relevant to tan

Exactly. Our fans have sung much worse in the past and still do. No team have made a complaint against us.
Seems this is not coming from the club but just the owner, I don't know what he hopes to achieve from it.
It should come as no surprise to him now when we are charged for chants our fans make.

Is there any confirmation as to whether the complaint was made by Tan or the club or from somewhere else?

Something about him being a lady boy …..
What a wet society we live in.
OK thanks, I suppose there could be a race link to that, so that will be why, they take more action.
But let’s be honest , who exactly in that ground is getting upset by brizzle fans calling our owner a lady boy ? ….
I’m sure it ruined the match day experience for the thousands of real lady boys who were otherwise transfixed to the exciting goings on of the seven side derby.
When you are a football club owner getting massive insults for one thing or another …..this goes with the territory .
As Cardiff fans we need to look at ourselves then and soon it will be clubs wanting to then complain about us.

No idea what minute it was but I definitely heard it Bristol fans on there forum also saying it's what they were singing but like I said we sing songs just as bad week in week out and if our club has actually kicked up a fuss over this I'm sure it will come back and bite us on the ass as every club will look to report our fans every week

“Bristol City have been charged with misconduct by the FA due to alleged derogatory chants about Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan. The charge stems from two chants during the Championship match between the two sides on 6 October 2024 at Ashton Gate, which ended in a 1-1 draw.”
It was at Ashton Gate and no mention of who made the ‘complaint’
