A Bluetooth piece is quite big and sticks out of ear and seeing as riza as little or no hair it's not hidden ... so like said I sit above him front row level 4 so unless of course he wears an earpiece like spies do he is not getting fone calls from anyone.... may fone him halftime who knows but if tan is giving tactics advice surprised we've won a game .... its not unknown for owners to interfere in tactics but if people believe he's making 12 calls a game more fool them in believing it... show me a video of rizas talking to himself then I'll believe it. ... besides people love such stories it makes good bedtime reading.

Current trend and data means if he will take us to the prem, then it'll have to be this season. Unlikely to be here at Christmas, along with 50% of his counterparts.

Top 10 highest payed squad in the league and just had reinforcements.Weve been done there all season still down there and it will go to the wire ..I said we would go down and I hope I'm wrong.
I like Riza he speaks well and he is likeable a nice guy .The league position doesn't lie we should be higher up the league in my opinion. The season hasn't been a successful one .good managers inspire self belief and confidence. For some reason we are the wrong end of the league so any talk of the prem is way off .There were more experienced managers out there when riza got the nod.

I can see many disagree with me but I stand by what I said.

Riza has huge potential as a manager and could be the one to take us to the PL with the right signings.

It would be a huge mistake to let him go in the summer and if we did and he got promoted with another club, everyone would be saying we shouldn't have let him go.

Re: Riza can take us to the Premier League

In honesty, I don’t agree.

Although, if I had a choice, same squad but with an experienced manager, or same manager and improved playing squad, I think I’d choose the latter.

I understand everyone wants both, as do I, hell I want the Saudis to buy us and spend a few billion, unfortunately it’s highly unlikely.

2-3 big signings in the summer could prove to be a master stroke and might get us back to playing championship football

I expect us to stay up this season.

Every manager has to get their chance somewhere. Riza has been given his with us and he is still learning.

He will have learnt a lot from this season and that means he won't make the same mistakes next season.

I think he'll need a few more young signings and at least one more coach.

But if he keeps us up, he will stay and he could be the man to take us back to the Premier League.

You might be right, who knows but I was just commending Worcester comments and not being a sheep and saying something that goes against the grain .

Well done for saying what you think. If he keeps us up he'll be our manager next season I think.

And take us to the Premier League Martin

Or League 1

I can’t wait to see who keeps posting this shite to remind them next season as Riza gets Sacked by Xmas.

The jury is out on Riza but to be fair he’s done a decent job in very difficult circumstances

No way does Tan ring him 12 times during the game that’s absolutely ridiculous thing to say I’ve been by the dugout a few times and he doesn’t speak to anyone on his phone!!

Well I can virtually guarantee one thing … if Riza keeps us up, and I strongly believe he will, he’ll be our manager next season.

Agree; and furthermore, I believe he will be here at the start of next season regardless of which division we are in

Sadly, I don’t share Ned’s Premier League vision with Riza in charge, I do think he’s done a decent job getting us out of the absolute mire we were in under Bulut and he has improved our play (in style and product) enough to be given the chance

August through October are dangerous times for our managers, so we’ll know early (next) season if Riza is good enough or not and in the absence of Klopp signing a ‘letter of intention’ to take us forward next season, I think he’s done deserves the chance! :ayatollah:

Tan could have access to the best military ear pieces and best hi tech equipment a bit like Bruce Wayne aka Batman , he could use sign language to reply back to Tan to say he got the awesome tactics . A bit far fetched I know but could be true .

I hope he does'nt stay if he was that good with players we have why are we still near the bottom after over half the season gone,
we where only 3 points off relagation the other week before hull.

That’s my point Monty, Riza has been in charge since September and been here since last June, The Squad is worthy of 8th position at least.

We’ve struggled all season.

Let him stay till May, then let’s show Ambition:

But we were bottom of the league when he took over.

We have made great progress with him. With the right sort of young signings and another coach, he can take us to the Premier League.

Riza is doing well.

22nd September 2024

I could understand if it was Feb/ March 2025 and he saved us

By now if he’s really done well we should be about 10th

You also need to factor in the championship this year is poor. So many average teams and we are near the bottom.

That’s another major point, not many spent either and as Riza said We have a good squad and he got the players he wanted in January, said he’s been fully backed by Tan

Every season someone says it's a weak league this year, guaranteed. I'm not sure any season is weaker or stronger than any other season, it all evens out each season & teams end up where they deserve to be.

When he keeps us up I will definitely back him as manger next season he deserves chances. Football getting better everyone is raving about colwill that’s credit to Riza, ashford is a revelation. Robinson is scoring goals salach could be one of our best signings for years chambers looks good in mid field. This is all down to Riza I’d give him a chance to take us forward.

In all fairness I'm not sure about getting us promoted nobody can predict that until we see who signs/leaves etc by next season. But I do believe he will stay if we stay up and as I've mentioned previously in other posts is January transfer window was very encouraging. So I would back him next season

Is that a serious question?

Have you even looked at the league table?

Leeds.
Shef Utd
Burnley
Sunderland

Much better than the others in this league. As the table shows.

Correct.

In the summer, we'll hear "the teams coming down from the PL are better than the teams who came down last year".

Then by January, it'll be "this is the weakest Championship for years".

Rinse and repeat.

Re: Riza can take us to the Premier League

when you consider one standout team in the championship this season leeds compared to other seasons where 4 /5 teams fought it out shows how bad the championship is this year plus shows how badly we have been to be near the bottom the entire season everyone can have an opinion doesnt mean anyone is right or wrong

Annis

Worcester has it in his head which he is entilted do we hsve our views.
I am 100%sure in my mind riza will not take us to the prem next season,

We have hardly been SAVED by riza from rock bottom to 3 points off bottom pre hull game,
in my book that is not the ambition i was looking for,
some are content with shite football and half empty stadiums due to the way we play and where we are postioned in the division.

It's no joke Annis, I am being deadly serious.

He's shown enough in his time in charge that he has some good ideas.

Like I said, with the right signings and another coach I am certain he will get us promoted from this league.

You're using one game to judge a whole season which is meaningless when compared to when we played in Div4 and almost fell out of the football league. If you've been around as long as you say then you have seen a lot worse than this defense, I know I have.
