Although Trump is an absolute bellend and a vile human being I’m fairly sure that these tariffs are only temporary

Each Country will renegotiate their deals with USA over the next few months and I’m pretty sure America will be able to negotiate better deals than they were on before these recent tariff increases

Trump will then give it the big I am and all the rednecks will lap it up

Fully expect a full recovery of the World stock markets by the end of the year

In 2020 the government locked people in their homes for weeks, shut down businesses & stopped the velocity of money.

It started in March of that year and the stock market was back to all-time highs by the end of the year.

The same will happen with stocks post-tariffs this year.

It’s basically wiped out the stock gains after the November election.

That's OK but what I said is not BS that's coming out from trump... it did take just 4wks to formalise according to reports unless of course he planned everything as soon as got into office? ... financial analysts don't relate to the figures he quotes ..could go on but pointless it appears... and the forum is about having a viewpoint which can expand depending on a person's opinion..

Also you seem to have missed Trump's MAIN point. These are RECIPRICAL tariffs, I know you understand what that means, even though in some case he has only fought back with 50% of the tariffs charged to the USA.

It's quite simple, if we don't charge the USA with tariffs, they won't charge us.......sounds fair to me.

Yes they're reciprocal but they're NOT really, the numbers are very random with no basis for most of them, you & I could have done a better job of it. Not sure what penguins have done to deserve tariffs either.

People should read the reason why it's got tariffs on it? His rationale for how much tariffs he put on each country is flawed the penguin tariffs should tell you that. ... besides there's plenty of other similar tariffs he's come up with because used faulty data
