Riza has gone less attacking for this one :
Omer Riza has chosen to strengthen his Defence and add some more physicality with the inclusion of both Dimitrios Goutas and Jesper Daland in a back five which also includes Andy Rinomhota, Will Fish and Callum O'Dowda.
Calum Chambers returns to midfield after missing out against QPR at the weekend, while Rubin Colwiill and Cian Ashford look like they will sit in behind Yousef Salech.
Still no Chris Willock in the matchday squad.

I can't see nothing but a Prestom win.
I can see Riza walking if that happens.

He won't walk. I think he's in full on delusional mode / head in the sand / out of his depth / hoping for the best. I genuinely think he's settled for League 1 in his head and as long as he acquires 3 more draws thus season, he'll see that as a mini victory!

Wow that’s empty like CCS
Tue Apr 08, 2025 6:47 pm
Very low home crowd
Even worse than the amount of empty seats at our home games
Tue Apr 08, 2025 6:47 pm
Riza knows he’s got a job for next season because Tan has publically stated he wants him as manager next season!!!
It’s on us fans now to change the mind of the board and the clown in Malaysia

Goutas wins his first duel with Osmajic and wins a throw-in for Cardiff deep in their own half.
Tue Apr 08, 2025 6:50 pm
We've actually scored 3 more goals than them but conceded a hell of a lot more... in nutshell hats what's wrong this season.
Tue Apr 08, 2025 6:50 pm
First Cardiff attack results in O'Dowda seeing his cross blocked by Kesler-Hayden. The Irishman then concedes a free-kick.

Rubin wins the header, forward to Salech who heads out wide and nobody there…..
Tue Apr 08, 2025 6:52 pm
Not been a high-quality start. Fish sends a hopeful ball down the channel but it's easily dealt with by Hughes, who nods it back to fellow Welshman Cornel

Preston score but it's offside
Lucky
Tue Apr 08, 2025 6:54 pm
1nil Preston City’s defence all over the place
Thank fully offside
Tue Apr 08, 2025 6:54 pm
Somebody just put your damn foot through the bloody ball…
Tue Apr 08, 2025 6:55 pm
Good job flag went up.
Just get rid of the f*cking ball.
Can’t even defend with 5 at the back ffs.
Tue Apr 08, 2025 6:56 pm
All this play out from the back crap has got to stop, we create more problems for ourselves with this sh!t idea… we’re not Liverpool ffs
Tue Apr 08, 2025 6:56 pm
I feared an early Preston goal and we got away with one then! Pathetic play; dilly-dallying when a firm boot was required!
Thank you, Mr Assistant Referee for your alertness!

That was dreadful.

Thankfully offside.

City getting sliced right open

Can anybody answer why Riza has a natural number 10 playing LWF???? Why is Colwill there???
Tue Apr 08, 2025 6:59 pm
Neither team playing well
But it's Preston who look more likely to score
We are way too defensive - we need to win
Tue Apr 08, 2025 7:00 pm
It’s all Preston

He’s trying to confuse them with his line-up (the Bluebird team, I mean; not Preston)

We’ve been set up completely wrong yet again, wrong players and wrong formation

Ned,
Riza keeps promising attacking football this is what’s winding our fans up
Tue Apr 08, 2025 7:00 pm
All round terrible performance so far
Tue Apr 08, 2025 7:01 pm
Not dangerous in the slightest, no pace, massive gaps in midfield.
Gonna get fucked.
