I would like tlg and daya both contributing to this board BUT what happened goes way beyond the boundaries of a disagreement.

I honestly don't see how anyone could side with daya on it. Things went too far.

However, if tlg was ok with him being allowed back on then fair enough.

Don't get me wrong; when I said I don't know the full facts I was just meaning that what Daya did was between you and him hence I clearly don't know the facts. I wasn't defending Daya (as I said, I think what he did is a disgrace). If you want to tell me the full facts I'd of course be happy for that.

Indeed. That's why I'm watching this poll carefully. This is Annis' board and he can quite rightly do what he wants with it. However the risk of being sued (or having claims made up against me and forwarded onto a future employer or the staff at the Uni I go to, etc) isn't something I'd like to have to worry about.

On CCMB someone once sent me a death-threat and a jumped-up moron from a press organisation threatened to sue me for libel after I said his organisation made up some quotes (which they did and I had/have proof of that)

Anywhoo, my point is that this whole "anonymous posters are nerds" is a silly and immature line to be peddling since there are some real idiots around online. Including Daya (there is no excuse for trying to get someone fired and then threatening random people with law-suits).

I guess if Daya was let back on I sense the Board may see a reduced amount of posting as people whether rightly or wrongly will think twice what to post.
