A lot of the players so far, have been hard men, and nasty with it at times , but mostly , except for Muscat, likeable blokes in a way. So I`d go for El Hadji Diouf, with his sly tackles and spitting, and cos he`s shite ! truly a nasty , horrible b*stard !

Ithought Gareth Stoker would have got a mention.I always remember him buckling someone on the touchline in front of the Bob Bank, the ball hit the advertising board on the side and bounced into the air,he then punched the ball half way up the Bob Bank with a grunt that echoed round the stadium. They dont make them like that anymore.
Can you imagine some of the players mentioned in this thread training and playing with the likes of Parry,Wittingham,Bothroyd nowadays.

None of the players mentioned come close to George Curtis of Coventry City. My first City game at Ninian Park late sixties.
First time the ball was played to Toshack, Curtis smashed him in the back with his elbow, leaving in a heap on the floor. The ref ignored it, as they did in those days. From then on George elbowed, kicked, punched and did whatever else he chose, to stopToshack. When Toshack had enough, he moved on to other City players. It was without doubt the finest display of thuggery I have ever witnessed on the field, in a professional football match, to this day. In a strange sort of way, I admired George Curtis' performance that day. It was full of passion, pride and a tremendous will to win. A 100% performance which is embeddded in my memory. I think he still works for Coventry City.

He was banned from Birmingham Town Centre for fighting with doormen alongside Killer Kilcline. Gent of a guy but apparently an animal.
Is it my imagination or am I right in thinking brian kilcline lived in a canal barge after he quit footy. Looked like something off braveheart.
